"A nice hotel you must stay"

One of A great hotel to stay in Jogjakarta. Nearby Malioboro, a very crowded and famous area that you can find handy craft, batik and many thing unique and good stuffs made in Jogjakarta a long the street.A large and luxury room made my sleep tight. Only 40 minutes from the airport. Love it so much....

On my second visit to Yogyakarta Prior attending best friend of mine wedding in "BANTUL". I must say that on my chosen accommodation at "IBIS MALIOBORO" is indubitably exquisite based on the overall performances particularly with a mixture of SILVER SERVICE they provided during my stay. Literally the quality of breakfast is superb. Room is spacious enough for me and my partner. Having regard to factor such as service values, and sleep quality which both are all phenomenal. Seemingly there are still few aspect they need to solidify in an effort to streamline their outlook and made towering achievement within the hospitality industry. First of all with bathroom door at the back needs to be repainted as the current paint starts to gets peeled, Second Point when I called reception or any other department within the Hotel people whom are in charged in each department regardless housekeeping, front desk etc must act and responded to guest inquiry fairly quickly instead of having to wait for 5 up to 10 minutes sometimes ended up with no answer at all <they need to pay close attention to detail on that>, Third is car rental services with the officer in charge must certainly respect and appreciate their customer by not giving frequent calls as a reminder once the rental timing is set otherwise customer will loose interest in using their services. Fourth speacking of location MALIOBORO IS THE HEART WHERE THE CITY CENTER OF YOGYAKARTA IS SITUATED, HOWEVER FOR THOSE PEOPLE OR TOURIST WHOM LOVE TO TRAVEL TO A NOTABLE SILVER MANUFACTURER IN TOWN LIKE "KOTA GEDE" WITH REGARDS OF TIME AND DISTANCE TAKEN CAN BE QUITE FAR WHICH TAKES 40 MINUTES DRIVE, OTHER THAN THAT THE LOCATION IS VERY CONVENIENT WHERE YOU CAN FIND ADJACENT SHOPPING MALLS NEXT TO THE HOTEL PLUS MARKET ACTIVITIES THAT NEVER STOPS ALONG THE STREET OF MALIOBORO UNTIL 10 PM. ASTOUNDINGLY SULTAN PALACE WHICH IS BEST KNOWN AS "KERATON" ALONG with an open field known as 'ALUN ALUN" is also approachable by walking distance about 25 minutes walk from the hotel whilst "Taman Sari" is not far with close proximity from the Sultan Palace too where you can discover restored water palace. Overwhelmingly I am giving a score 8 <EIGHT> OUT OF 10 <TEN> where my stay at "IBIS MALIOBORO" has been highly exceptional and enjoyable furthermore I do personally recommend all travelers to come along and stay over at this hotel as where the action is HAROLD WIRIADINATA WIRAWAN Dated On; 03 February 2013

I always stay at the Ibis Malioboro when I visit Yogyakarta because it is good value for money in an excellent location.. The staff also provide excellent service and are friendly and very welcoming.Breakfasts are worth getting our of bed for with great selection for all tastes.The rooms are clean and comfortable.The hotel is almost on Jalan Malioboro which is a great place to spend time watching people and listening to traditional music.

We have stayed at the Yogya Ibis several times. The standard room is basic but clean and in good repair -- everything worked, the plumbing, the TV and the small refrigerator. The staff was very generous with extra towel, and prompt, as well. The front desk staff were also very accommodating and courteous, letting us in the room at 10:00 a.m. even though the standard check-in is much later. The breakfast buffet is not lavish, but well stocked, and fresh. Seating is limited. If the hotel is full, best to plan on an early breakfast to avoid waiting for a place to sit. The one thing the hotel needs is a new, larger pool and work-out area. Overall, the Ibis provides very good value, coupled with excellent service.

It was a pleasant trip for us. The staff very helpful in keeping our luggage before check in and after check out. Adjacent shopping mall a good place to hang out when you are done with the sightseeing. Don't go to Legian restaurant nearby...food so so and price too high compared to local standards. Buffet breakfast was nice with various fruit juices and buns.

It is very good value for money. Centrally located and easy to go anywhere. You can also enjoy walking along Malioboro. The room is clean and service is very good.I like most is the service and the location of the hotel

Ibis Malioboro is located in the central business district of Yogyakarta, the famous Malioboro road. Ibis has a friendly and responsive staff, I got a promo for Ramadhan (fasting month) stay, including breakfast/sahur and dinner with a very affordable price that other hotels nearby couldn't beat! (I booked there as a Le Club platinum member, but didn't redeem my points)I asked for a superior room with the front street view, it was clean and comfy, with nice amenities. Swimming pool is small but adequate to freshen up a bit in a hot day, it also has a sauna and fitness center.Breakfast is very generous, with local delicacies and good service. Definitely will stay here again.

The hotel is well located, overall service was good, rooms are looking a bit tired, could do with a bit of a renovation. Breakfast was good value for money, pool was good, staff friendly & helpful, would consider staying there again.

Nice location, on besides of big mall located in Malioboro street.Really nice sleep during stay.Next time to Jogjakarta I will stay in IBIS Jogja again...Don't hesitate to book in earlier due to room will be fully booked

We booked very early and got a great deal on the rooms. It's located right in the heart of Malioboro so it's not far from the main sights and shops (it's also has its own entrance to what looked like a decent shopping mall (shopping is not really my thing). Generally the service was very good and I cenrtainly wouldn't mind statying there again.Th cons are relatively minor. The bathrooms ere a bit poky and, as the title suggests, the towels had seen better days. If you are a light sleeper the prayer call at 4.30am might be a bit of a nuisance too.

I found the hotel to be clean and comfortable, the staff were all helpfull and freindly.The location was central to all the shopping you wanted to do and a short didtance to the railway station.However leave pleanty of time to get to the airport as the traffic is hectic.I would recommend this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel over the weekend for 3 nights. Hotel is located in Maliboro Street which is one of the main city area in Yogyakarta. Location wise - it is very convenient as shopping malls are annexed to the hotel. The street market is just opposite the hotel. If you need a quiet place, this hotel is not the ideal choice but if you want good location, then pretty much this hotel should be ideal.Hotel wise, it is pretty average looking from outside and its lobby. Nothing fancy but it is not bad. Check in was ok, staffs are friendly as always.Rooms are average for 3 star standard. Bathroom was a bit small and looking old. Beds are average as well - pretty much standard in a 3 star hotel. Nothing outstanding.Wifi in our room was very weak, we have to keep log in and out more than 10 times in a period of 2 hours - perhaps the hotel can look into it. We were at room 726.Buffet breakfast was pretty average as well for 3 star hotel standard. It has the normal stuff with some local dishes which is nice. Not bad overall during our 3 nights stay in this hotel.If you are looking for luxury - go to Novotel or Phoenix but if you want good location hotel just to sleep, then you can consider this hotel.

The hotel pay its price for those who use public transport, its near Trans-Jogja bus stop, train station, and walking distance to traditional market, keraton, and alun-alun. However the room quality is far below compare to other Ibis hotel, the furniture is old, while ussually Ibis relate to vibrant and young image.The service is very good, i get my room change easily from smoking (terrible smell) to non-smoking, very helpfull on giving transportation direction & interesting place to visit, also i can store my bagage until 1 day after i check-out so i can travel light to beaches in South Jogja..Overall its a good stay which can be great if they improve their room quality.
