"Strategic location but room quite old"

The hotel pay its price for those who use public transport, its near Trans-Jogja bus stop, train station, and walking distance to traditional market, keraton, and alun-alun. However the room quality is far below compare to other Ibis hotel, the furniture is old, while ussually Ibis relate to vibrant and young image.The service is very good, i get my room change easily from smoking (terrible smell) to non-smoking, very helpfull on giving transportation direction & interesting place to visit, also i can store my bagage until 1 day after i check-out so i can travel light to beaches in South Jogja..Overall its a good stay which can be great if they improve their room quality.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, and it's really worth it. The hotel is located right at the heart of the Malioboro, which makes it so convenient to tour the Malioboro area. The breakfast is nice too, with a lot of variety to choose from. The only downside was that when i stayed there, they gave me a smoking room, which has a faint odor of smoke in the hallway to the room. The swimming pool is quite small too, but hey, why would you be swimming at the hotel when you're in Jogja?

The hotel crew (receptionist, security and room boys) is friendly and helpful. The room reservation is easy from the internet (hotel website). I also like the room rate which is cheap among the other hotel (3 star above). The breakfast is very diverse and tasty/.I really enjoyed staying at Ibis Hotel Jogjakarta. I do not hesitate to vote and stay at any Ibis hotel that is either in Indonesia or outside Indonesia.As input, for the security of the guests who stay should also use the lift is used and the access card should also be provided for the shuttle bus to and from airport.Again, I say thank you for the service provided and the comfort that I have gained from the Hotel Ibis Jogjakarta. Always a success.

Location is good as there are many restaurants around to eat. It is also very close to the shopping areas and tourist attractions. There is also a bus stop near to the hotel which you can take to another shopping plaza. Service staff are friendly and helpful.

Good location and link to shopping centre. Had some problem with toilet facility but housekeeping was quite efficient. Bathroom door needs painting/maintenance. Otherwise good value for the service provided.

I already prepaid the hotel stay for my parents and yet they charged me again recently. Unacceptable. I had to call my credit card company to reject the charge. Based on my parents stay, they enjoyed the service otherwise.

The location is superb. But the hotel is quite old, the bed linen & towels are extremely old / used and already somewhat yellow/brun (well, I guess the bleaching does not work anymore). I think they need to do more about it. Otherwise all is OK.

What i like the most from this hotel were the location. Transportations are so everywhere. Shopping area are nearby and everywhere. Easy to find food, traditional stuff of Yogyakarta.The room in this hotel, is average. it's clean and you can sleep well.

Very strategic location, just a few step to the famous Malioboro street. There are lots of shops that sell Batik. You can also reach the famous Bringharjo market only by walking from the hotel.Recommended place to stay if you like shopping .

The Ibis is well located, clean and neat with very friendly and helpful service. It is very close to Malioboro and next to a shopping centre. The price is very good value. The buffet breakfast was included and had an excellent choice of Asian and western food. The swimmiing pool is small but that is my only small complaint.We are from Australia but most of the guests were locals who appreciate the combination of quality and value.
