"good hotel for a good price and place"

very confortable, clean, good place and price !The room are small, but with everything that you need for a night.Bathroom confort. Ibis hotels doesn´t have shampoos or soap to take with you.Not "chique" but I pretend to stay there again !

"Paris - last 2 nights of my holiday (January 2013)"

When searching for a hotel in any city Accor Hotels (Ibis and Formula 1) are on my list - I never been disappointed EVER - that's why I return.An interesting point is that in my experience the "personal service" is exceptional - sometimes you need to stay more nights, they will help you, you arrive a day or so early than planned they will help you - in the case of the Gare dEst Ibis I arrived early in the day after a long night train journey - they gave me a choice of room (front or back) and mentioned if I would like I can go into my room early.I choose the room on the street, stored my luggage in the room and had extra hours in Paris - equipped with my Paris map (Ibis provided) I was off . . .All that with a friendly group of people on the desk . . . superb!Thanks

"Great location and value for money"

the location is good near Gare de l"est, just 5 mins walking easy access to the attractions places and CDG Airport. the room clean and tidy. the bathroom was also clean. suitable for travel with young children. Important thing, the room and bathroom must be clean. that my main criteria choosing the hotel beside its location and price. Check-in and check-out time is hassle free. The reception doing great didn't let us wait for too long. within 5 mins checking-in process done. we requested for joining room and we got it. Thank you to all the staff at Ibis Gare de i"est. I will make sure to visit again if I'm make a trip to Paris in future.

I booked the room in August 2012 and specified that I don't want a room at the back of the hotel (where I know the internet connection is very bad). I spoke to someone (I have name, time and date) and I was told that I will be given a room at the front of the hotel. When I arrived and checked in, they gave me a room at the back. I didn't complain, as I didn't have time for it (I was there for work) and last time I complained, so I can't always do that. Secondly, the ladies at the reception, non of them are native French speakers. Nothing against that and if I'd try to explain, I will be more nervous as I got the impression their French isn't that good. They miscalculated the days for breakfast, though I informed them when they gave me the vouchers and I thought they entered it in the system. But they didn't. But I have the impression, it is the French IBIS, as the IBIS in other countries have a different customer culture

I stayed in another hotel the previous week but I had noticed the IBIS hotel and so booked it for my return trip. The staff were all very helpful and the hotel is split across both sides of the street. Rooms were very clean and well serviced. Breakfast was good value and a good selection. My only criticism would be the minuscule lift said to be for three people. I climbed four flights of stairs in preference to using that lift. I would recommend this hotel as good value for money though.

"Good hotel"

We spent 3 nights in this hotel. Room is very small (but we needed only a shower and bed :) ), but everything was clean and nice. The hotel is close to the train and undergroud station. It was also nice that the Breakfest was not included, because in Paris is perfect to have a breakfest on the street. On the corner (30m from hotel) is a Caffeteria with 12€ for 2 breakfests.

"Adequate hotel within easy reach"

Ibis Gare de l 'Est offers compact but adequately equipped rooms with good sleeping comfort. Not on a busy road and nevertheless within extremely easy reach of many Metro, train and buslines. The hotel offers free internet access on a daily basis, but the desk officer may forget to tell you that you need to collect a code (as happened in my case). Even after paid (Orange) subscription the downloading of images or videos (such as watching tv online) was too slow to be practical. Otherwise recommended on all accounts.

The hotel is 400 metres from Gare du Nord (Paris Nord). Gare de lÉst is also a main train station with interstate lines, as well as 3 Metro lines and many bus routes. The number 30 bus will take you to Trocador, which is a few metro stops from the Eiffel Tower. Along the route is Moulin Rouge, Sacre Coeur Basilica and Arc de Triomphe.The hotel itself, because of it's central location, can be very noisy at night.We did not try the breakfast at the hotel. There are many food options outside the hotel.The staff are very helpful and courteous. The hotel has free wifi, but it is a pain. You have 24hr access with your login and password, then you need to get another from reception, internet phone calls are forbidden, I had to login probably 20 times in 3 days.The room is comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay.

"I was expecting a special rate as A club holder even it was last minute reservation."

Unfortunately, I made last minute reservation. The room rate was too high than I used to get from Ibis. Although I did have my A Club, could not get any benefit which I was expecting special treatment as the card holder. I could stay in an upper scale hotel at that price I paid but I am dedicated client for Ibis and therefore I am disappointment.

Really close to Gare de L`est station, but a little disorganized and smelly from cigars. Good place to stay if you don't mind you're not really close to main attractions. Nice restaurants around the hotel. Would come back again.
