"Peaceful location"

Just off Place d'Italie but down a quiet road. Location perfect for us as we like going to Rue Mouffetard in the evenings. Only couple of minutes walk from the Metro. Very clean and efficient. Staff very friendly. Beds really comfortable. We were in room 256. One of the more peaceful nights sleep we have had in Paris. We got brekkie in with the deal which was nothing special but all that you would need. Would certainly return to this hotel.

A comfortable and well located hotel. While there, I had two problems - lost luggage and a severe fall which resulted in much pain and discomfort. The staff worked hard to assist me as much as possible and I appreciated their efforts.

"Insider Tip"

Very nice and quiet hotel with a great value and view of the Eiffel tower. The service was excellent, but the breakfast could be better.

"Great Location Away from the Crowd"

I had a free weekend during a recent business trip and was interested to see parts of Paris I've missed on previous trips. I really enjoyed the Mercure Gobelins with its quiet location near the place d'Italie and I had an excellent view of the Eiffel Tower from my 8th floor room to enjoy the light show at midnight each evening. Breakfast buffet was nothing extravegant, but very good and was able to sit outside on the patio to enjoy it. It is nicely situated near shopping and several very good cafes - would recommend the Monte Cassino right around the corner from the hotel. It is also very close to metro stop that serves lines 5, 6 and 7 for easy access to ust about any point in Paris. As the weather was outstanding during my stay, it is also an easy 20 minutes walk to the Catacombs or 30 - 40 minutes from the Louvre.If quiet and away from the normal hustle and bustle is the goal, then certainly would recommend this hotel.

We stayed here twice for a total of 4 nights. The rooms are average size, but the location of the hotel is tucked in a courtyard off a non busy street, it was extremely quiet. We would highly recommend the hotel.

"A good hotel in a nice location"

Excellent location in a quieter part of Paris. Metro is just 2 minutes away and there are plenty of places to eat/buy food all close to the hotel. The free Wi-Fi is great - makes traveling much easier. Staff at the hotel are very helpful, and rooms are clean/modern although some are a little small (like most Paris hotels). But I would return to this hotel in the future, good value overall.
