Excellent location and superior staff service. Desk staff excellent - went out of their way to assist a first time visitor to this city. Room comfortable.

Unlucky to have rather small room on top floor with no water pressure in the shower and a bed support that broke during the night. Otherwise, ideal location in the city center, very pleasant and helpful staff. Number of restaurants just around the corner and close to the "Palais des Papes". The weather was beautiful, so that made the stay very pleasant in the evening.

We have stayed at this hotel many times and each time the reception staff have been most welcoming, speaking perfect English. The rooms have been to a good standard and don't have that well worn look. Finding the car park is a little tricky, look for Palais des Papes on your Tom Tom. There are three levels, go to level one , park and walk out onto the street only a few yards from the hotel, right in the centre of the old part. Breakfast is good.

We booked the hotel for 2 nights because of the brand of the hotel chain and its proximity to the Papes Palais . However, the quality was much worse than what we expected. First, the room was dilapidated and light was dark. Our room faced towards a restaurant and we could smell the cooking at night.Second, the stream of shower could suddenly turn off and the water could suddenly cool down. Third and the worst, we were told where we could have breakfast upon check-in. We then deliberately asked the receptionist if breakfast was included in our bill. He checked and told us that it was included. So we took the breakfast for 2 days, which was nothing attractive. When we checked out, we were astonished that we were asked to pay for the breakfast! The receptionists, one being the one who did our check-in, denied having said that breakfast was included in our bill. It was as if we were lying for the breakfast or having illusion or dementia. It's just a small amount of money. But since we had done nothing wrong, and we don't think the customers should bear any responsibility in case of any confusion, we refused to pay at the end. The attitudes of the receptionists were unfriendly and unprofessional throughout. I'm still not sure if my credit card will be charged afterwards. I'll definitely issue a formal complaint if so!

Lovely helpful hotel but breakfast expensive. It's much cheaper to eat at any of the local restaurants. Great location.
