"TOWEL HYGIENE AND CAR PARK"

The bath towels seem not so hygiene, and the color no so bright white. Also the amenities are not suficient. The location is good and easy to reached, also the road infront of the hotel is very accesible. The car park not so comfortable and less illumination.

I was staying for 2 days at the deluxe room and 1 day at superior. I got deluxe room at 9th floor and it's quite noisy since there's a group of young soccer player at the same floor. The room is okay but there's ants on the table. I don't know where they come from. I think the towel has to be changed since it's too thin and cannot absorb water very well anymore. At the 3rd day, I moved to superior room and it's better, and bigger. I usually took a "bluebird" taxi everywhere from the hotel. But it seems the cooperation has ended.
"Hotel at old town"

I had to carry my luggage from the taxi to the reception counter and then to my room with myself. There where no staff in in the lobby.It's a clean and nice hotel with plus point of friendly service from the staffs. The management needs to take immediate action on amenities such as old towels and old air conditioning (no working well).Wifi I received a username and a password to access the in room.One last thing. I appreciate the non-smoking-policy. But the non-smoking-policy in the lobby of the Ibis Surabaya is absurd. The lobby is one big space. In one corner is the cafe/bar located and a section of the cafe/bar is a designated smoking area. Hence the smoke can be smelled all over the lobby and non-smoking guests checking in or out, or having a drink at the bar are exposed to the smoke.

Very nice hotel for business because the location at the center of Surabaya, so I don't waste time to many place in Surabaya city.I like the room because I could sleep well & I like the gym facilities that make me feel stay fit all the day I've stayed there.I feel comfort with their service from my arrival at the hotel till I checked out.And many more reason to make this hotel as my destination in the next..... But I'm sorry...., because I can't speak English very well.

I just spend a night before leave to Pasuruan. Room & other devices are prompt to use. But I forgot to bring the universal adapter. Then I can't charge my mobile phone while I stay in other hotel. They have a universal plug in their wall at least a point. Just only this inconvenience. Hotel building built on the Coronial era but still nice. Opposite hotel is a big department store where I can walk to buy something and walk back safely. A few step ahead is China Town.

If it is true what they say that the devil is in the detail this hotel has many problems. At check in they want me to pay the room, which had been prepaid with breakfast through their own ACCOR website. Then arriving in the room it has not been cleaned from the previous guest. Problems to login with the internet and with connection. When it rains leaking windows, a lot of water and the consequent moist smell afterwards.. On my booking confirmation it said you were supposed to be able to open the windows, you cannot, also the room should have a safe, it has not. At breakfast please buy like in IBIS Jakarta and Yogjakarta a coffeemachine, now the coffeee is undrinkable. Croissant should be fresh every morning. If you leave them more days until they are finished they get stale and dry, very dry. Then at check out again I am charged for breakfast, this had been prepaid through their own ACCOR site. All in all glad to leave.

Jambatan Merah Plaza shopping mall is just accross the street. Here you can get almost everything especially batik garments. The hotel staff are very polite, breakfast is o.k. Room wise, bed is comfortable, basic amenities
