"Car Park for Guests or Airport Longstay....."
21st May 2012, rnwright1969, Amsterdam, The Netherlands
We arrived at 10:30 as the bar was closing.....for residents, well that was shock one.Parking was impossible and a closer look at the cars parked showed that they were all staying for a long while, with limited car parking you would have thought that Ibis would not have acted as a long stay car-park, that was shock two.In summary I would not use this particular Hotel on a second occasion, In general Ibis are great, in particular this one is krap!
"Always Always good."
14th May 2012, munster4ever, dublin
Ibis Gatwick is always the same. Great Nights sleep, Clean Room's, functional and sharp Bathroom, Good Breakfast, Coffee making facilities in Room, Big Tv etc. I like its position just away from the Airport, and I'm comfortable with the Transport arrangements to and from the Airport at all Hours. The best thing is the Staff here: Pedro has been here since I started using the Hotel and is a really friendly sincere guy who is a credit to Ibis. The Spanish Lady that checked me in and her colleague from Madrid could not be more helpful or friendly. I dont really like London nor Gatwick but I really like the People at this Hotel and I always return here.
"Ideal Hotel for the Airport"
13th May 2012, Ely, United Kingdom
This is the 2nd time we have used the Ibis, staying the night before an early flight.Hotel excellent & staff friendly and with a great price its perfect.bar & restaurant very goodThe only slight criticism is the parking is a bit tight.Would recommend without hesitation
"A good value budget hotel."
13th May 2012, hongkersHongKong, hong kong
Worst part of the whole stay was trying to reach the hotel from Gatwick. Standing in the cold for 45 mins, waiting for the shuttle bus was not a good start. Other than that the hotel was good value for money.
"Overnighter before flight."
10th May 2012, TedT556, Sheffield, United Kingdom
Does what it says on the tin. Handy and good value for the airport, but in the middle of nowhere unless you want to drive. Staff were cheerful and helpful. Beds are on the firm/hard side, for me, but my wife thought they were fine.

"Just what airtravellers need when staying overnight near Gatwick Airport!"
26th April 2012, trancelate, Essen, Germany
Budget accomodation with very friendly service and no unnecessary luxury. This hotel is very close to both the LGW North AND South Terminals and the rate is well affordable. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner but the price and the vicinity to the airport make more than up for it.If you are looking for entertainment during your stay, pay a visit to central Crawley where you find restaurants, bars, a cinema, etc.

"Good Service"
20th April 2012, Nick B, Bolton, United Kingdom
We arrived early hours of the morning after late arrival at Gatwick. Front desk service was very good and had us booked in and in our room in no time. The car parking was easy, accessible and secure. We did not bother with breakfast.

"unexpectedly good stay"
10th April 2012, Jersey, United Kingdom
I have always believed IBIS hotels to be of a budget type so was pleasantly surprised to see a spacious, modern and most importantly clean room. For what was paid, it was extremely good value for money and I would definitely stay again and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

"Ibis hotel Gatwick overnight stay."
9th April 2012, Milton Keynes, United Kingdom
Very clean budget hotel. Approx 5-10 mins from airport by car. Good size roms reasonable facilities. Excellent breakfast for only £7.50 each. Shuttle bus to airport stopping at both hubs is only £3.00 per person excellent value compared to taxi which cost £13.00 for same trip. Only downside was the traffic noise at night despite double glazing. Though this did not disturb my partner I found it annoying. I would reccomend it to friends but warn them about the traffic.

"Close enough, clean and economic"
14th March 2012, Eastbourne, United Kingdom
Like all Ibis hotels that I've used so far, this one was clean, efficient and provided exactly what I needed: a good night's sleep and a shower in the morning. It isn't exactly walking distance to the airport but there is a regular coach service that stops at the front door of the hotel. We arrived late and only just caught the last serving from the kitrchen at 10.00PM, which was lucky because there are no other places to eat nearby.

"Overnight stay with parking for a week"
11th March 2012, tez-m, staffordshire
Fantastic value- overnight stay and parking for a week, when flying from Gatwick for a holiday.Wonderfully helpful staff- apologies, I do not know the name of the gentleman on duty in reception when we left at 04:30 on 3 March, but he was a real star, coming to the rescue when the lock on my suitcase would not shut, and the shuttle had arrived to take us to the airport! Thank you for your excellent solution.

"good hotel - confusing to get to"
9th March 2012
Whilst my general opinion of the hotel is good - see my ratings above - I did find the arrangements for getting to the hotel by shuttle bus from the South Terminal rather confusing. The signage was poor. It was not made clear that there was a hotel minibus as well as the Service G23; and it was also unclear whether the G23 was scheduled or on request. The 'free' telephone service did not work.

"Pet travel to Ibis Gatwick"
8th March 2012, Nottingham, United Kingdom
We travelled with our 2 dogs, who were also warmly welcomed to the hotel which was very nice - we were also allowed to dine in the restaurants with the dogs too! - extremely good nights sleep on a super comfy bed, very helpful and friendly staff and the rooms were kept to a very high standard of cleanliness, the only down side is the addional fee for the car parking which is compulsory as the road outside is a main carriageway.Highly recommended.

"Cheap and Cheerful!"
4th March 2012, Birmingham, United Kingdom
The hotel is cheap and cheerful enough. Shuttle Bus is run a first come - first served basis. Also, watch out when ordering breakfast, if you need to eat before 6:30am its a restrictive service (Continental Style). A bit disappointing as I was looking forward to a cooked breakfast!

"Quick sleep before jumping to a plane"
2nd March 2012, Guadalajara, Mexico
This was a great choice for getting a night of sleep near Gatwick airport for our early flight the next day.The service was great, very friendly staff. The room was simple and clean, we did not need any more.Location is good, very close to Gatwick Airport.I liked the best, the service and the fact they provide transportation to the airport; what I liked least is that the van is quite small and in peak hours you might not find a spot.

"Noisy and too hot"
25th February 2012, London, United Kingdom
Not over impressed, very noisy location, duvets far too heavy, extra pillows needed. 15 minutes on the bus shuttle to airport. No free wifi despite lots of advertising to indicate it was included. I suppose for the rice it was ok, but will have to consider if its worth not getting a good nights sleep

"But the food...!"
12th February 2012, Olney, United Kingdom
I love ibis hotels and this one was no exception- good rooms, very clean, great location and great value for money. My only gripe is that ibis seem to have downgraded their restaurant facilities at some hotels to a sort of cafe bar which only serves what are clearly microwavable meals. They weren't even that good and its a retrograde step in my view. Decent food is what sets Accor apart from Travelodge and Premier- without it the benefits are fewer.

"Ibis Gatwick Daan"
10th February 2012, Amersfoort, The Netherlands
room was tidy and neat. But very hot. I tried to switch of the heating, but still warm. Opening the window was not really an option, due to the noise. The restaurant was too small for the number of people.Experience was average, not a delight.Location is convenient due to proximity to our company.

"Good hotel but poor transfers to Gatwick"
8th February 2012, bilsbok, buckinghamshire, England
hotel was fine but the transfers are far from adequate. Only run every 30 mins in the morning and only have a 8 seated mini bus. I got on the bus by being 10 mins early but 2 couples were not so lucky & were turned away and had to wait 30 mins for the next one.

"Overnight"
30th January 2012, BillayRambo, United Kingdom
Used this hotel for an overnight stay due to an early flight next morning. Very happy with everything the hotel had to offer...and the pizza we shared in the evening was one of the best I have ever tasted!
"Good start to our holiday"
24th January 2012, Exeter, United Kingdom
We were greeted by friendly staff after parking our car in the hotel car park. Our room was comfortable and quiet. We did not eat in the restaurant this time but the menu looked good and not too expensive. The hotel mini bus was not quite large enough for all those who wanted to go to the airport - so if you want to get a seat make sure you get to the front of the hotel in good time. We didn't have to wait too long when we got back for the bus but they only operate every half hour so you can be unlucky and have quite a long wait.

"A traveller from Abu Dhabi"
21st January 2012, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
The hotel is the cheapest out of all the hotels near gatwick airport. It is a typical Ibis, however, since it is a relatively new property; most things are well kept. The fee of 4 pounds per person for the bus ride that is hardly 10 mins I thought was a rip off; and since trains or public transport only come to the airport, you'd have to pay that both ways! The restaurant in the lobby serves freshly cooked food, and is quite good too...We tried the Pizza and Fish & Chips, both were great!

"great location, and just what you need before you fly"
11th January 2012, London, United Kingdom
I stayed the night before i flyed out to Italy, the room was clean and had all you need for an over night stay, not noisey at all, staff are all freindly, check in was fast and easy, got picked up by the Ibis mini bus this was very handy all I had to do was call to arrange for pick up either at north terminal or soth terminal tho I did have to wait a little bit longer then i expected but it was not a problem and for £4 each way i thought that was good value. Had an early start in the morning so breakfast being served from 4am was great no hot food but a good selection of yogurts, fruits, cereals, pastries etc etc, check out was fine quick and easy, and then i caught the Ibis mini bus to the airport which runs every 30mis from 4am - 6am but it is on a first come first serve service so make sure you get there quick

"Nickel and Dime"
9th January 2012, San Francisco, California, USA
The price was right until we checked in. They carged for everything. Even though television is listed as free they charged $10. Which was insane since the room only cosr $35 and we only stayed one night.
