Perfect for a night in Gatwick, stopover for an early morning flight.I had a straight foreward transfer from the airport, had a good nights sleep, in the morning the was a nice cooked breakfast with fresh coffee.The transfer back to the Terminal was smooth and uneventful.

We stayed at the Ibis Gatwick the night before our flight out of the airport and booked an 8 day park and stay. This is very good value for money and the hotel is ideally situated for the hotel. Buses start very early so we were t the airport on time. The rooms are standard Ibis and are comfortable for a stay like this although we did find the hotel a bit warm.This was our second stay and we would use it again the next time we fly from Gatwick.

We stayed here the night before a very early flight. It first started off with us wating nearly an hour at the airport late at night for the so called shuttle bus which does not need requested, even though it was to come ever 10 or 15 mins.Eventually the shuttle came, took us to our hotel, which was more than a 5min drive away from airport, got to the hotel waited at least 20 mins to check in due to a mix up for a customer in front of us. Finally we get checked in to a room only to swipe the card, open the door and someone else was in our room!How embarassing!!Back down to reception with our luggage and finally into another room exhausted.We were paranoid the same thing would happen and someone got access to our room so needless to say a restless night. Will never stay here again, would have rather paid a few pound more to stay in the premier inn and not pay a transfer fee or have to wait nearly an hour!Be warned!!

ibis London Gatwick Airport: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Excellent value"

Sure, this is a budget hotel and you get what you pay for - but the value here is excellent, rooms are modern and clean and the hotel has good restaurant and bar facilities.The staff were very pleasant and approachable and check-in & check-out was smooth and efficient.Airport transfers are available in the morning and evening and cost £3 per person on the hotel shuttle.

The value of Ibis is you get what you pay for. The rooms are basic but well designed, they are kept superbly clean and the service within the hotel is excellent. The restaurant is fairly basic but the food is excellent and the service in the restaurant is friendly and superb.The access to Wifi is excellent and better than in other Gatwick airports (including the Hilton!).For a short Gatwick stay the Ibis has to be the Hotel of Choice.

Just a short stay when arrived Gatwick in late evening. Expected small room but the overall hygiene is excellent with cozy bed. family room with a double and a single bed, good enough for a family. Excellent with towel provide without extra cost. Taxi to the hotel from Gatwick around 15.
