Reception and bar v good. Warm Welcome, gokd cocktails and atmosphere. Premium room nice and good bed. Let down badly by confusing and poor quality breakfast including one man putting down water glasses in preparation for lunch, three in each hand with his fingers inside the glasses. Breakfast items and finding them Confusing. Not well laid out and quality average. Shame as the rest of the stay was excellent

This was the 2nd time we have booked a twin room, to be offered a double room, and then had to wait nearly 1/2 hour for a room to be ready. Fortunately the charming female receptionist improved our mood with free coffee! The rooms and shower rooms are fairly small. Room 118 at the end of corridor by the ventilation exhaust is a bit noisy.

We arrived to the hotel. It is a stunningly lovely place. We are all used to the same modern hotels.Hôtel de Bourbon - Mercure Bourges is all character, beautiful and the staff are lovely with french manners and help. We will come back. Keep up the good work and service. We are from the uk and loved every minute of our short stay. We have bought a french house so cannot believe how we enjoy all things french.
