Conceived as a gourmet restaurant with a French touch. It features a spectacular outlook across the whole city and a long history as a luxury restaurant. It is one of the favourite places of visitors to Havana.
International buffet. Offers breakfast and dinner of an international cuisine. Located in the lower lobby area.
Located near the lobby, in an atmosphere that recalls Sevilla's traditional patios. A variety of Cuban cocktails. Animation every night.
Located near the swimming pool, a place with lots of vegetation, ideal for relaxing. Fast food snacks & Cuban cocktails.

overpriced and under nice sweet maids, grumpy front desk people - very full of themselves. I mean, they work at the desk of a hotel, why not be! and then there is the $5 internet cards sold every where else for $2. Very disappointed to pay $500 a night for a beautiful old building - with GREAT entertainment - but little things just not right. place would have been a good deal at $60 a night. MAYBE
This was one of my worst stay at a hotel which is run down, airconditioning sucks, no fans to make rooms comfortable, communication with staff difficult due to limited comprehension in English. Being offered VIP breakfast at rooftop restaurant found service deplorable thought the view is great and nice musicians to entertain. The General Manager was polite as well Anabel one of the managers but they were all helpless stating non availibity of materials etc. Overall not good value for money! I do understand Cuba has its own difficulties of goods and materials better to stay with Cuban families and save money as seems impossible to have decent hotels in Cuba. Nevertheless enjoyed the overall ambience of music and willingness of staff to help whatever they could.
Dear farrukhsdeikh, I’m so sorry that you were disappointed by your experience saying with us. I appreciate the feedback and rest assured that we take all comments very seriously. We are looking into the matter, but feel free to contact me on email@example.com to discuss this further. Kind regards, Gerardo Souto Director Residente | Mercure Sevilla La Habana
We really had an awful experience in this hotel. The air-conditioning in the room only work 2 out of 7 nights, the toilets are not fit for purpose and although the hotel claims wifi in the lobby, there is none. Infact, we had called the hotel sometime before our visit to confirm Wifi. The public toilets are not looked after well. We had to use the Wifi and toilets in an adjacent hotel. Customer service is also very poor. I did meet up with the French Manager who was very sympathetic and kindly offered us some compensation. I can however not recommend this hotel until many of the planned upgrades are fully implemented and that's a big job. We couldn't wait to escape.
Dear Mike00190, I remember very well talking with you to try to solve your problems. Your two main problems were your Toilets that were blocked and the internet access. As I explained to you, Internet is not under our power NEVERTHELESS, I have the great pleasure to inform all travellers that since last Friday 12th of August, the Wifi is working perfectly and quite fast in all the hotel and all the rooms. I am again sorry for your inconvenience. Best regards
Stayed for 2 nights. Great location. Rooms very tired, curtains didn't close, quite grubby - certainly not worth the price. Elevators were a joke - 1 out of 4 barely working. Only plus point is the a/c is decent. There must be better options in Havana.

The Hotel, built in 1908, shows its age and is in need of a good refurbishment. The rooms had a lot of character. The dining room was elegant and charming with an excellent outlook over the city and the food was quite good. I imagined it in its glory days full of music and high profile guests. The bar area was good with a lounge area in the main part of the hotel quite tastefully outfitted. My one criticism was that of the entertainers and their repertoire - maybe they could increase the number of songs and not to be repetitious. It was ideally located for many of the attractions.
Dear Noel: We want to thank your opinion. It is very valuable to us what they think all our customers. With regard to the repertoire of the musicians, we will consider your opinion to improve. Thank you very much Best regards
I love Cuba. My second trip. I only wish that the hotels could equal my view of the country. And, it is not the age of the hotels... but the cleanliness, service, and amenities that really are challenging.
Dear lshaw3: Thanks for your feedback. We are very glad that you like Cuba and we hope you come back. However, we regret very much your opinion about the hotels and especially the opinion about our hotel. We will consider your comments and this will help us to work with staff, so they can see what customers think of their work and improve. About two months ago we are developing a training on customer service and this will be an example that will help a lot. Thanks again. Best regards
The frontage of the hotel is very beautiful, like the hall but the rooms are very old : old furnitures, old beds which have to be changed, and the walls need to be painted again. Basically the hotel need to be renovated. The staff is very nice as everywhere in Cuba. First we had a room with a lot of moisture, and it's smell very bad (because of the moisture). The staff kindly accepted to change the room which was better. We tried casas and expensive hotels and we definitely recomand casas. The Mercure Sevilla Havane doesn't fulffil the occidental standards for a 4 star hotel.
