"Poor Value for Money"

I am 77 years old and disabled. There was no disabled parking near the hotel and we were not offered any assistance with our baggage. The bathroom of our room was very small and the basin was far too high paticularly for my wife, she had great difficulty using the basin. At breakfast at 7.00 am there were no staff in attendance to assist etc. The only staff there was a lady who was clearing the tables. All in all a very disapointing visit.

Its a good, nice hotel, is St nectaire, close to the ski stations (15 minutes by car). Hthe rooms are very clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful; the dinner was very good. The pool and sauna are nice. Its a good value hotel for a ski vacation.
"Imposing grandeur"

The hotel was easy to find, and is a very impressive building. Reception was efficient and friendly. The corridor to the bedrooms is rather stark and smells of chlorine from the pools. The bedroom, although not spacious, was adequate and clean and the bed was comfortable. I would have expected 2 chairs in a room for 2 people.The dining room is something else. Coming out of the gloomy corridors into the lounge and dining room is like going into another world of comfort, space, even opulence! The dining room, surely once a ballroom, is magnificent..The meal was excellent, good value, with very good service, nowhere near as expensive as I feared having seen the surroundings. We also enjoyed the breakfast.All in all a very enjoyable experience.
"Excellent facilities, room a bit small, lovely town"

This is a fantastic building, particularily the restaurant and bar. We loved taking the dogs for a short walk in the garden. We wish we'd booked for two nights to make use of the pool and other facilities in the area. The room was a little small and the toilet was quite close to the shower. The food menu was a little limited and too 'traditional French'. Excellent breakfast.
