Mercure Strasbourg Quartier Saint Jean: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Good quality/price"

25th March 2012, Bolton,

Nice hotel, close to the train station (2mn walking with direct link to the airport) and 5mn city centre.Clean and quite, the only bad point is the size of the room.

Mercure Strasbourg Quartier Saint Jean: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Strasbourg Accommodation Costs Double during Parliament Sessions"

17th February 2012, Dublin, Ireland

I have stayed at the Mercure Strasbourg Quartier Saint Jean on several occasions and always found the staff to be very friendly, the hotel very clean and the location fantastic. I have never had breakfast there because I think the cost is too high.My big gripe, which extends to all hotels in Strasbourg, is the across-the-board doubling of hotel room prices during the week that the EU Parliament sits in Strasbourg each month. So, the price of a standard room at the Mercure goes from 90 euro (which is value for money) to 180 euro (which is scandalous) for a few days every month. The problem is that thousands descend on the city for 3 to 4 days once a month, all needing a bed, and the hotels lick their lips.

Mercure Strasbourg Quartier Saint Jean: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Good night sleep in Strasbourg"

4th July 2011, munchen

Cozy little hotel by a quiet street. Very good sound insulation, so no sleeping problems. Stairway should be open and the stairs more attractive since many of us on business travel would like to use the staircase instead of the elevator to get little additional exercise. The people at reception could be a little better trained on issues like 'how to get air-conditioning working when the cleaners forgot to properly close the window...'.

Mercure Strasbourg Quartier Saint Jean: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Amazing Hotel"

29th June 2011, McAllen, TX

To start, the location is perfect - just up the street from the train station. It was easy to find and we were able to leave our bags there after our stay, "visit" the city and pick up our bags on the way back to the train station. The service was wonderful as well. Everyone was extremely courteous and helpful. Our room was literally out of this world. We were lucky enough to get the 2030 room. It is the room of the future with things such as a TV in the shower, towel warmers, adjustable beds with a flat screen TV mounted on the wall just above it, a massage chair that can relax (or stimulate) every part of you, and so much more. The staff showed us how to "use" the room. If we hadn't come to see Strausbourg we would have spent every minute in this room. I totally recommend this hotel to everyone. Even if you don't get the 2030 room, the rest of the hotel is wonderful. If we ever get back to Strausbourg we will definitely stay here.

Mercure Strasbourg Quartier Saint Jean: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Block from train station"

29th May 2011, Colorado Springs

Best things, block fromn train station and well located for walking around central Strasboug. The low end rooms are tiny, with no windows, no lift, but have amazing large and cool bathrooms. Great front deak staff. Realizing Strasbourg is expensive, better value can be had booking other accommodations early (We struggled to book this Accor a month in advance. The few other choices were chains also and even more expensive).
