"Ideally located and in a beautiful town"

We stayed at this IBIS for 3 nights and had a great time in the town of Braga. The hotel was very central and close to all the places we wanted to get to. The train station was about 15 minutes walk away. Get the bus to the Bom Jesus and walk up to the top. It is an amazing place and the view is superb. The hotel staff were very friendly the only slight downside was that the "left luggage" area appeared to just be the floor behind reception which didn't seem very secure, but it was not a problem.

I recently stayed at the Ibis Hotel in Braga, and it was really good value for money.The service is excellent from the moment I stepped into the hotel. Being one of the few (only?) Asian family checking that night, the person at the reception greeted me by name before I even introduced myself! After completing the necessary paperwork and giving me the keys to the room, he provided me a map and showed me the key attractions in town without my prompting or asking.The room given to my family was very big for a city centre location.There was free wifi and a computer to access internet in the lobby area. This was not advertised, which the hotel should have done so.
"Some nice, big, triple rooms"

Unlike Ibis international standard, this hotel has some very nice, big, triple rooms. As we were a couple with a young child, we were offered one of this "special" rooms (with no extra charge). Our room had also a balcony, but unfortunatelly the heating was not working. We asked at the reception for help and, after no success trying to work it out, we were offered another similar room at a lower floor (also quite big, but without balcony). Location is very central and it is charged extra for parking inside. It seems it was refurbished no long ago.
