ibis Perth: 5.0 out of 5 stars "The Best"

9th May 2012, Buell55, Pingelly, Australia

With a great location to Perth CBD this is a hotel with clean, quite rooms and friendly helpful staff. Anyone will enjoy the superb dinning and walking distance to several excellent night life locations. A great budget priced hotel that we always use when travelling to Perth.

ibis Perth: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Not so Quiet Night"

4th May 2012, Dadcar, Perth, Australia

We had trouble getting the duty Manager to see us at the Glass Door , So he could lets us in.We PUSHED THEIR NIGHT BELL with no Luck and until i bang on the Glass and got his attention. Booked in was perfect.Rooms had a lovely look over Perth City , Window had a light covering which Stop people looking in ,.We were on the 9th Floor , When the sun came up the room just lit up there was no chance of sleeping in after 6.30am . When we went to book out and retrieve our car the Lady at the counter proceeded to let us know what we had to pay . Upon arrive the manager was able to inform us that they received our booking and that we had a free voucher from Accor- hotels and the room cost and that payment from my credit card had been take out. In the morning all went pear shape Photo copies of confirmation credit card copies and many people all waiting to book out. I was confused why i had join accor and did everything on line , Just to stand and argue with this lady , She was very Short and insisted that we will check everything and make shore we get Paid. I had to follow the booking process from accord and give them all my details so they could take the money in advance. VERY CONFUSED

ibis Perth: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Hotel Ibis Perth"

25th April 2012

This has become my preferred hotel when visiting Perth. The location is excellent for dining options, with cafes and restaurants nearby and a short walk to James St Northbridge. With constant foot traffic on Murray St the area feels "lived in". The hotel is simple, clean and efficient. The in-house dining is also of a good standard. However with the insane accomodation prices in Perth at the moment, it can be too pricey at times, considering the Ibis brand is positioned at the "no frills" end of the market.

ibis Perth: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Rikki&Steve"

20th April 2012, SteRikAust, Perth, Australia

Great Location if you like to be in the Heart of the City Everything you need at just 300mtrs.Shops Rest/Pubs,Train Station etc.Have allways stayed in Hotels the other end of the City, but this little find suits us better.Only downfall is there is no Valet Parking and you have to use Carpark in the next Street but you do get discount parking, and the area for pick up and drop off is only for two bays.Room a little small but you can upgrade, other than that for our first time stay no complaints. Will stay again at this Hotel.Mgmt and Staff very helpfull.

ibis Perth: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Excellent stopover in Perth"

29th March 2012, Sydney, Australia

With only a short time available we needed a location in the CBD. The Ibis is a short walk from the Tourist Information centre and conveniently located to the city sights. The hotel was well presented and staff very attentive. More than happy to stay again.

ibis Perth: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Perfect Location in Perth CBD, but expensive weekday rate"

22nd March 2012, singapore

Stay in Ibis Perth for 3 days, location is perfect. few hundreds meter from Perth Metro and Shopping District, 1Km from Barrack Jetty and just 10 minutes drive from East Perth Station. It is very convenient location in Perth. Room is quite clean, service is good, check-in and check-out process is very efficient. However, room and bathroom is quite small. The rate for the weekday is very expensive about AUD 300 per night, maybe this is to target business travellers. For such 3 star hotel the price of AUD 300 is at the high side.Overall, quite satisfied with the hotel, but it would be good if we can have better rate especially for accor member.

ibis Perth: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Ticked all our boxes"

1st March 2012, Temora, Australia

The staff were friendly, helpful and genuine. The room was comfortable, the shower was great, no street noise and had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. We were assured that the Ibis breakfasts were great ... and they didn't disappoint! The meal we had on the friday night was also lovely, service was impeccable but the noise from the bar next door spoilt the evening completely. We'd stay there again in a flash.

ibis Perth: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Great"

16th February 2012, Perth, Australia

Great stay we were very happy with everything apart from when we booked online with the accor website we thought as we gave the credit card details the payment had and was going to instantly be taken. We arrived at the hotel to be told we had to still pay. At no point did accor advise us that the credit card was only going to be held as a guarntee not charged. Please make this clearer if this was to eb the case.

ibis Perth: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Great Hotel"

13th February 2012, Gold Coast

The hotel was great. To be honest the buffet breakfast would have to be the best I have ever experienced. The variety and quaility of food was second to none, presented beautifully and all kept to a nice level so that what was hot was hot and what was cold was cold. The room was pleasant and comfortable and the complimentary bottle of cold water in the fridge was a nice touch. The only negatives would have to be that parking came at a cost and the fact that the hotel did not offer free WiFi. Most hotels I stay in around Australia and overseas now offer this service at no charge and in fact I look for the service as a 'decider' on where I will stay. Like most business people I do a lot of 'home work' at the end of the day and depending on time zones early in the morning - emails etc.All in all a good experiance.Brian

ibis Perth: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Happy customer."

10th February 2012, Mandurah, Australia

Very satisfied with the quality of the service at the check-in and restaurant. Meals were good quality and reasonably priced and served promptly. Location of hotel was very convenient. Staff went out of their way to assist with enquiries.

ibis Perth: 4.0 out of 5 stars "best location"

9th February 2012, Bakers Hill

This hotel is in the best location in Perth, close to shopping and Northbridge. It has a taxi rank very close as well. We were given the wrong room however the change was made hassle free, with good service.A liitle cheaper than others but room size adequate and very clean.

ibis Perth: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Outstanding"

30th January 2012, Perth, Australia

Hi,I want this email to find the General Manager (or above) of the Ibis Hotel in Perth, Western Australia. We stayed at the Ibis on Thursday night and the service from staff was outstanding. Assistant Manager Kai was the best possible representation of professionalism and friendliness. He made our experience so much better and needs to be congratulated on doing an outstanding job.The room was lovely and the meal at the restaurant lovely.I was not expecting the experience to be so exceptional and just wanted to say well done. From the lovely ladies at the front counter, the young girl in the restaurant who was friendly and happy but in particular Kai.I really do hope this email finds the right people to ensure our praise is passed on.I will definitely by recommending the Ibis to all the people I know and I already have. Keep up the great work.Kind Regards,Michael Holland

ibis Perth: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Accor Perth"

30th January 2012, Perth, Australia

We stayed in 2 rooms, both with a double bed and a single. The rooms are VERY small! My room faced Murray Street and I heard all the night noise from the street, dont' think those windows are double glazed!! hence my bad nights sleepWe got the room on a Sunrise special ($99) but to be honest I would never pay full price for that hotel. The staff were friendly!

View management response »

Management responseThank you for your feedback. I do apologies that you did not receive a good nights sleep. Unfortunately as we are in the heart of the city we do experience some noise from the bars in the vicinity. However our staff will always be happy to move anyone to a quieter room where needed. Again I am very sorry to hear you did not have an enjoyable stay. If you decide to use the Ibis in Perth again in the future it is my hope that we serve you better.

ibis Perth: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Ibis Perth by 2 locals"

19th January 2012, Perth

Reception staff were friendly and efficient. Wait staff were very polite and pleasant. The room was very comfortable, however the aircon was not cold enough.Room service afterhours was odd to us...maybe it is normal practice? We had to collect, from a very limited menu, our food from reception. Otherwise we had a great stay and the situation to Perth was great.

Management responseThank you very much for your kind feedback with regards to your stay here at the Ibis in Perth. Its always a pleasure to read that our guest have had an enjoyable stay with us. You mentioned the afterhours room service. Please allow me to explain, basically the Ibis brand does not offer any room service, however we do offer a “grab and go” option which allows guests to grab a bite to eat and a drink without having to leave the hotel. I do apologies if this caused you any inconvenience at all. Thank you again for your feedback and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Ibis in the future.
