"A very pleasant stay"

After having a disappointing stay at an Ibis Budget hotel over east, I was a bit worried on how my stay at an Ibis Styles hotel would turn out...but I had a great stay in Perth at the Hotel Ibis!Checking in, the receptionist (Jamela), was very friendly and helpful. We were only staying 1 night for a concert and she kindly gave us directions to the nearby Perth Arena and we didn't get lost with her directions to the Arena-we found our way to there easily and very quickly. Unlike the Ibis Budget, the rooms were very spacious, clean and had everything we needed. We couldn't work out how to set alarm on the fancy alarm clocks in the rooms, but that wasn't much of a problem as we just used the alarms on our mobile phones. I found my pillows to be very hard which didn't make sleeping as comfortable as I would have liked it to be, but it seems that I was the only person in my group who had problems with pillows-everyone else had a comfortable pillow, so it may have just been me. We stayed on a Saturday night and there are a couple of night clubs nearby so throughout the night (till after 5am sometime) we could hear people on the streets shouting their heads off.I would be happy to stay here again the next time I am staying in the city centre

"Excellent value and great location"

I had to stay another night in Perth and my hotel could not extend my stay. I needed to be in the exact area and after an internet search found the Ibis. It was easy to book online on the day I needed the room. It was a typical Ibis hotel - stayed in many in Paris- so no frills but had everything I needed. It was a great value prepaid price that included breakfast and wifi. Only downside was external noise from fans or ventilators and the non adjustable combined aircon/heating system was a litlel challenged by the very hot temperatures outside.

"Urgent dash to visit sick friend"

Perth a quiet, but expensive city. Easy to move around. Ferry to South Perth recommended and cheap. $2.70 for 2hrs travel.Great bike tracks. Inner city hotel Ibis ok and well situated. Centrally located.

"Our Anniversary night at the Ibis"

My wife and I recently stayed at the Ibis in Perth on the 40th anniversary of our marriage.We had a Free night courtesy of our Accor Advantage Plus membership.On our arrival I mentioned to the duty Assistant manager that it was our anniversary and he upgraded us to a 'Superior' room. Soon after settling in he brought us in a bottle of sparkling wine and a fruit platter. The only down side of our stay was that we were in a room overlooking Murray street and were kept awake for quite a while by the noise of night clubbers and the associated traffic noise. Parking is in a nearby Wilson's public car park with the fee offset by the Hotel meaning our $36 fee was reduced to $20.Our room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. The fridge in the room was lacking one support leg which meant the unit wobbled when the door was opened.

"Enjoyable"

The ideally suited hotel and great service from the staff made for a pleasant first stay in Perth. Having used Ibis hotels before in Asia meant that I was able to make a favourable comparison. Thank you very much for the experience.

we found it to be very convenient to everything we needed, friendly staff and clean, train within walking distance, supermarket and liquor store with in walking distance. perth is a very clean and friendly place, will stay again.

"Great location for Hopman Cup"

Good place to stay for Hopman Cup - easy walking distance to venue - staff very pleasant - room quite small but comfortable, tv remote bit difficult to work out - could be easier. Very close to free CAT buses - yellow and red - also raiway station within easy walking distance - in all a very central place to spend a few nights.

"Rooms not properly clean"

Good location, friendly reception staff,carpark is quite okey, but the housekeeping is quite poor because on the second day of our stay the room is not properly cleaned, did not empty the rubbish bin and all the wrapper of coffee, sugar, etc. did not removed from the tray, did not washed the tea spoon that we used.

Rooms a little small for 2 + 1. However it was very clean and comfortable. Parking was a little of an inconvenience as had to park in a general off street car partk and it did not offer security. Breakfast was nice and had a good range, but the coffee was bitter and not enjoyable. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, and even the trainee was professional. The only noise issue came from guests exiting the lifts (as we had a side room) and chatting all they way to their rooms late into the evening.omrechichi@ozemail.com.au

"1 Night stay at Ibis Perth"

The room was very small with a double bed only just fitting in it, however obviously not intended to be 5 star but more for economy use. The staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. We only stayed overnight while attending the Jennifer Lopez concert and the new Arena just around the corner from the hotel.
