"The front desk clerks were completely out of the loop"

The front desk clerks I met were completely out of the loop.1.when I asked they where I could find any convenient stores or massage serve around the hotel, they told me "No convenient stores here and massage houses are closed before 9:00 PM outside" . But just a convenient store in a gas station near the hotel and a massage house called "health land" was opposite to the hotel was open to 24PM2.When I checked out, I asked to get an accommodation receipt, the clerk told me no receipt because my reservation was made by travel agent. But I made by Accor hotels website.3. Finally, I asked them to prepare a public taxi which can use a meter to the airport.They arranged a taxi for me which looked like a public taxi. But after I got on the car, the driver told me he didn’t use a meter and I had to pay 300）Baht. However, before I made a reservation for the taxi, the front desk clerks told me from the hotel to airport only need 250Baht. Was I deceived?? It was my worst experience stayed at Accor hotels.View management response »

Firstly, regarding to your issue about a convinient store and massge place. It is true that the nearest convinient store and massage place around the hotel are Jeffry, at PTT petrol station and healthland spa, which is located opposite our hotel. Secondly, in case when the guests ask for accommodation receipts, we are able to provide to our guests straight away unless the reservations are made by travel agents. However, from what you mentioned that your booking was made by Accor hotels website. Therefore, if is possible if you could send us your name and booking details to us, email@example.com? We will then investigate according to your problem and inform you the result very soon.Lastly, for the problem of public transportation which you claimed that a taxi driver overcharged you a fare. We admit that it is our job to provide our guests for taxi service. Once each taxi arrived the hotel, it is our job to tell a driver for a destination our guest want to go. How much a taxi will charge to the guest whether following a meter or not it normally depends on the guest to accept for an agreement. Otherwise, you could change a taxi and we will get you another taxi. For your information, normally a taxi fare from our hotel to the international airport (Suvarnabhumi) is around 200-300 baht, not more than that.Your sincerely,Janejira C.
"Friendly staffs and good service"

I stayed there only for 1 night for a business matter. The check-in process was fast, the staffs were friendly. They helped me to find a taxi with meter and ensure that the driver knows exactly the place I would like to go (it was not the case for other novotel hotel in the city!)The hotel is clean, but old. The location is far from the city and not too close to the airport. But if you would like to do shopping, it is near to a big mall, Mega Bangna with Ikea on its complex.In overall, nothing much to complain except that they might need to refurbish a bit the hotel.View management response »
