Central heating keeps the room too warm otherwise a very good hotel catering well or children. Good location next door to Gare de Lyon train station and Metro.

Great location and nice rooms, good breakfast buffet if a little bit expensive. Staff friendly but not always really effective.Pool, gym, free wifi, bar and restaurant in the hotel. Gare de Lyon at 2-3 minutes.

The stay at The Novotel Paris Gare de Lyon was an enjoyable experience. Staff were friendly and very helpful with information on all kinds of issues from transport to local attractions. The hotel was located close to the metro and very easily accessible. The restaurant had a good range of meals available and the breakfast menu was the best we had on our stay through Europe. For our next visit to Paris, we will definitely book the same hotel without hesitation.

The hotel is generally well located and is provided with all the facilities that a tourist could desire. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms are quite good. However, the staff is impolite, irritable, and demonstrate a discriminative attitude. We approached them only 2 - 3 times with some queries, whenever they were sitting idle, and on each occasion they ignored us, or spoke extremely rudely. The tea/coffee/milk etc were never replenished properly in our room despite our reminders. Having travelled the world over several years, I have never before been treated poorly by hotel staff. And their claim of being "children friendly"....that's a laugh.

Hotel situated right next to Gare de Lyon, yet very quiet room. Our room was on the stret side, and we heard no traffic. Metro line 1 on the other side of the street. Private parking. Nice & clean rooms, though a bit smaller than usual. Hotel has a clean swimming pool which is great for the kids after spending the day in musea (from that point of view, excellent value for money). Modern fitness room. Typical Novotel bar & restaurant, which is good when you don't want to go out anymore for dinner. Excellent breakfast. Effcient and polite staff, used to deal with business type customers.

Novotel Gare de Lyon was a fantaastic location right next to the Central station,Staff were excellent and romm was to Novotel standard.Family had a great time, only criticism was that the pool was over-run with small childrenwhen we wanted to use it.

We are a family of two adults and two children 14 and 7. We found Novotel Gare du Lyon perfect since it is located just next to one of the main train stations. The room was very comfortable and spacious with a large sofa bed for the kids. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast which has a huge selection. The reception staff were very polite and helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel to family with children.

Room is small, especially after turning sofa into bed. Should provide more amenities such as room sandal & both robe. Good location and the room is clean. Staff is generally courteous. Breakfast is value for money.

Hotel allowed us to place our luggages 2 days earlier before our actual check in date. Hotel is near to train and metro. Breakfast was good. Room is spacious with a double bed and sofa bed. Hotel staffs were helpful, they provided information when asked. The amount we paid was worth staying.

this is a good hotel to stay at and has convenient facilities (swimming pool and ok gym). typical chain hotel (so not very original) and very well located. Good restaurants very close by and a couple of seconds away from a main train / metro station

Hotel a little 'tired' but met our needs particularly for convenient location. Proximity to Gare de Lyon was very important. Staff were very helpful.. We hqad a good night's sleep and the ability to make a cup of tea was appreciated.

"Another good stay in Novotel hotel"

Hotel was fab, kids kept busy with pool and xbox. Easy to reach places by foot or metro or RER trains. Breakfast very good as was evening meal. Only quibble was that room was very hot at night, unfortuanelty our visit coincided with recent hot spell in April.

The hotel is conveniently located and to have a pool is also a bonus with young children. The only thing was the cleaning of the room did not happen till the evening on the Sunday 13th Feb which was not much good by then.
