"Culture shock"

After staying at several portugese owned hotels, arriving at an 'Ibis' style hotel with thin carpets instead of marble on the floors and 'Artex' walls was a bit of a culture shock. Otherwise the hotel offered all the facilities expected. We chose it for the free parking close to the centre of Evora.

Reasonable hotel situated just outside the city walls. Free external parking. Slightly unusual as the entrance is at the rear of the building. Only problem we experienced was the noise from the dual-lane traffic which passes just by the hotel.

The bed was so hard I may as well have slept on the floor .... My bed was dangerous for the body and anyone with surgery, joint or muscle pains. Lack of sleep also creates a fatigued next day performance. .

Very convenient stopover between Portugal and Spain. Good value. Only two problems and they might have been specific to the room we were in.1. Room too cold and not easy to adjust2. Water took over 20 minutes to warm through for the shower

What a little gem! Located just outside the city walls and ten minutes walk into town centre.Excellent carparking in garage at a supplement. Breakfast first class. Evora a very nice old town with plenty of history. All in all a well recommended stay.
