ibis Lisboa José Malhoa: 5.0 out of 5 stars "re my stay in Ibis hotel in Lisboa"

11th May 2012, prodteam, Moscow, Russia

thanks for the hotel, it's location is very good (close to the metro and center and good view from the window to aquaduc). I wanted to stay one more night (the 4th one) for the same price, but I refused when heared that the price will increase by 16%. Special thanks for free internet access and free luggage room. I always used accorhotels (mostly formula-1) for my private trips and will continue using it (ibis or formula-1) and will recommend it to my friends.

ibis Lisboa José Malhoa: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Very pleasant and nice stay at IBIS Lisboa Jose Malhoa"

19th February 2012

Several very good things which should be mentioned:- easy access from/to the airport with AEROBus;- very good price for accommodation;- rooms are typical IBIS but very clean and big enough, bathroom was spacious;- relatevely easy access to center by metro/bus (Praca de Spania stop just 5 min walk behind the hotel)- you get to city center in less then 15 min;- hotel staff very helpful.

ibis Lisboa José Malhoa: 2.0 out of 5 stars "air conditioning doesnt work in the room + disappointed service!"

19th September 2011, Brighton, United Kingdom

Air conditioning wasn't working! Called twice to reception, they were a bit patronising as if I didn't know how to operate it, after 40mins finally they came up and CONFIRMED it's broken but refused to change my room. Instead suggested "just for one night, why not open the window?" ...well, that's very helpful advice since it's hot outside and noisy in the morning while airplanes flying over the hotel roof!!

ibis Lisboa José Malhoa: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Great Stay"

5th August 2011, SPHA, Manitoba, Canada

We are always pleased to be able to stay at the Hotel Ibis Lisboa Jose Malhoa when are in Lisboa. It is very close to the airport, the local market, and the access roads out of Lisboa to reach other areas such as Caiscais, Sintra, or Quinta do Conde just to name a few.The Hotel staff are friendly and extremely helpful and, if you are not able to speak Portuguese, they do speak English, French and Spanish. You may even find an individual who will also speak Italian. The rooms are extremely clean and well kept, linens are crisp and fresh. We have never had a bad night. We strongly recommend a stay at this hotel for the price, which is extremely reasonable, the service, and the overall aura of the hotel. If you plan on taking the breakfast during your stay, great....we always enjoy it. The selection is always very tempting. If I could rate this Hotel on a star basis, I would give it a 5.

ibis Lisboa José Malhoa: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Very good option to stay close to airport or save money"

2nd August 2011, Mike_the_Bruin, Saint-Petersburg, Russia

Ibis is always Ibis. All the room, cleanliness, service, etc are as expected. Hotel is quite close to metro station (about 10 minutes walk). But total time to get to city centre is about 30 minutes. Railway station is even closer, so you can take a commuter to Sintra right from there (one change required). Airport is very close, we even could see planes landing and taking off from our room. But sound isolation is perfect - we could'n hear it. I would suggest that otel to those who want to save money and ok to travel every day to the centre by metro.

ibis Lisboa José Malhoa: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Business Visit to Lisbon Portugal"

19th July 2011, Burgos (Spain)

Compared with other (IBIS ) Hotels I visited in Europe, this hotel has an excellent price - quality factor, besides it is located in a business zone very well communicated with the Lisbon city centre by means of public transport.

ibis Lisboa José Malhoa: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Good stay"

20th June 2011, Vivalasvacaciones, Amsterdam

We had a good stay. The hotel is clean, the service is average and the beds are very comfi. The hotel is not in the city centre (old part) but you can take a metro (ten minutes). Overall perfect stay here!

ibis Lisboa José Malhoa: 3.0 out of 5 stars "So So hotel in a so so location"

15th June 2011, terenceyang, Singapore, Singapore

Average hotel located in the dying biz district, 10 min walk to the metro.ISIC cards not accepted.Bus 3/96 (same bus) fm airport. 3.50 ticket usable for 24 hours. be forewarned buses can go missing even though its only 2 buses per hour.Stick to the metro. Leaving the hotel, turn left and walk up the hill. first turn goes left downwards. Follow to the traffic lights and hunt for the small metro signs across the road.

ibis Lisboa José Malhoa: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Bar and restaurant"

1st June 2011, Hampshire072, Curitiba

A par disso, o atendimento prestado no bar e restaurante excederam as expectativas, principalmente do atendendo Diogo.

ibis Lisboa José Malhoa: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Clean and Convenient"

28th May 2011, Somerset West

Initially I was unhappy with the location and vastness of the hotel as had just come from a characterful apartment in Cascais, however it was convenient to transport and within walking distance of many attractions. The staff were helpful and the place was very clean. Good breakfast available. An extremely good rate was available for booking more than 20 days in advance.

ibis Lisboa José Malhoa: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Value for money"

25th April 2011, Budapest

We got exactly what we expect: good value for money. Clean, well-equiped but small room, the bathroom is also fine and there is enough space. The room itself is silent, no noises from the other rooms, but lots of planes fly exactly above the hotel. Easy get to everywhere by the blue (azul) metro.

ibis Lisboa José Malhoa: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Very nice"

26th February 2011, wwilliamm

The hotel was close to the underground station, Praca de Espanha. The airport shuttle stops almost in front of the hotel. Nice rooms, breakfast is ok, from 06.30 till 12.00. Bar and restaurant open 24 hours a day. If you don't like plains don't go to this hotel, lots of plains are flying over but for us it was not disturbing at all.

ibis Lisboa José Malhoa: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Thanks"

10th January 2011, Cedaredge, CO

Just one minor problem - the soap dispensers in the bathroom were practically empty. Otherwise we had a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

ibis Lisboa José Malhoa: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Great Disappointmant"

19th December 2010

Having used the Ibis Hotel chain in many countries we were extremely dissatisfied with our stay in Jose Malhoa. We had booked online and paid upfront. On arrival we were told work was being carried out. Noise from 10 am to 7 pm.The heating system in the hotel was full blast and too hot in the rooms. On enquiring the receptionist stated they had one temperature and could do nothing. We cut short our stay and left 3 a.m. Sat morning as it was too hot to sleep. We have often used this hotel before with no problems but the present staff require to learn some people skills in hospitality'A very disappointed customer. Others beware.

ibis Lisboa José Malhoa: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Pleasant service"

15th November 2010, Fredrikstad

We were met by smiling personnell, and they welcomed our dog too.

ibis Lisboa José Malhoa: 4.0 out of 5 stars "I don't know what this means"

15th November 2010, Belo Horizonte

In general, everything was fine. I didn't complain, but there was only one thing: my TV control was not working.
