"Central Location"

Typical Ibis hotel, good value, especially at weekends/holidays (we were there over the Easter break and were charged the reduced rate in spite of the online booking stating a higher price). Location is wonderful, opposite the cathedral and a big public car park and with plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area. Rooms average size, no hairdryers but comfortable and more than adequate.Would definitely use again.
"Air conditioning not working so very noisy with windows open"

They did notify us that A/C not working BUT did not say that there were fans available. As we were extremely tired after many miles of travelling it did nor occur to us to ring reception in the middle of the night to compain that we were HOT. So when i mentioned it in the morning they just quoted the 15 minute rule. They should have made it more clear what was available to us as THEY had this problem with A/C. We would not have booked this hotel had we known as we know it is very noisy with windows open.We were in room 102
"Bennett's Return Holiday Stay"

We have used this hotel for the past 3/4 years on our return from Switzerland and gradualy the standards have dropped.Tired looking roomsShowers and TV's that dont workDirty worn floor coveringsFaulty air conNo spare pillow or blankets in the roomsAt Breakfast no cups bread spoons.This hotel needs to be upgraded to the same standard as the IBIS in Calais.We travel to Switzerland at least twice a year and have now decided to souce an ulternative hotel for our future returns.RegardsThe Bennett family
"Lovely surprise when we arrived"

Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Saint Quentin is a town well worth looking around. We had a peaceful night sleepm in very a comfortable room. The bathroom was well equipped and scrupulously clean. Staff greeted us courteously, and offered assistance when asked, as to where we could eat an evening meal

Good location, parking nearby but not a lot of room at busy times of the day.The room air con was in need of an overhaul it was on but hardly cooled the room.The staff were very friendly and helpful

Conveniently located, not far from the autoroute, and right in the centre of town. Good parking right in front. Rooms OK, if a little small. Service and breakfast fine. Central location has one downside - there is a noisy taxi rank and bus stops right outside, which may disturb your sleep if you are at the front.
"An odd request"

We had some late arrivals in the room next door and there was some shouting and arguing. The toilet seat was most uncomfortable, but at least we did have a toilet seat. The location was excellent being very convenient for the town centre and arriving after 6.30pm on Saturday we had free parking opposite the hotel for Saturday evening and Sunday.
