I was very pleased with this hotel, its very helpful staff, abundant buffet breakfast and excellent location. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

In my opinion this hotel lets the name of Ibis down. The reception area is really showing it's age and the standard of the room was poor. The air conditioning did not work and the TV kept switching itself off.The whole hotel needs re decorating. Upon arrival there was only one person at reception and she also had to run the bar, which was not really possible as she was very busy at reception. After waiting over 10 minutes to order a drink, we left and went to a different bar.The hotel price was high for an Ibis and having spent a superb night in an Ibis near Madrid the night before for almost half the price, we were very disappointed.

Well if it is value you want then this Ibis delivers in terms of price. On the downside it is a bit of a walk into Bayonne as you and I would know the town. Based on the other side of both of the rivers it is a little too far for anyone with any sort of mobility issues. The rooms are clean and well looked after. The hotel parking is easy to use with good access into teh hotel. The food in the restaurant is very disappointing. Other Ibis hotels have more success with a simpler type of menu such as thier excellent Pasta menu. but here what read well on the menu was very disappointing on the plate.
