I had high expectations for the stay especially when they reached out in advance "to best prepare" the stay of 6 nights. Unfortunately, it did not meet the expectations at all. Not to mention that being a platinum member means nothing, as there was no recognition at all from check in until check out. Upon check in, we were told that we might have to change the room for the last two days as the booking was for a different room type, but they would only know for sure in the next 48 hours. I checked my bookings that I booked for the same bed type for all 6 nights, and also did not hear back from any staff for the next 4 days so thought the case was closed. Bear in mind that their "twin" room is two single beds put together which basically looks like a queen room. On the 4th night, upon returning to the hotel at 7.30pm, the staff told me, "you need to change the room" because I was given a different room type to what I booked and they need the room. Okay, there was an issue with the hotel's room planning and mistakes do happen but what was extremely disappointing was how the staffs handled this case. 1. To begin with, the staff just insisted that they need the room without a single word of apology. 2. Apparently another staff on morning shift wrote down that she spoke to me in the morning and I confirmed to be back by 3pm to change the room. To begin with, I never spoke to anyone when leaving the hotel at 8am other than simple greetings, and I had a booking at Louvre at 1pm. I was not even planning to be back before 8pm if it was not for a change of dinner plan. I don't know if she forgot or simply could not be bothered but lying is beyond unprofessional, and I really hope that your staffs played back the CCTV recording to verify. 3. I asked the staff if he could at least investigate why I was put into a different room type, and he responded, "it wasn't me and my colleague who checked you in will be here soon, you can talk to him". How professional is that. 4. Furthermore, I was told that they "already prepared" the new room. However when I asked for an extra room key, I saw that he changed the room from 6th floor to 2th floor, not to mention that the room was not adequately prepared e.g. empty fridge with no minibar. 5. As I was heading out for dinner plan which could not be changed, I asked for the missing items to be sent to the room once I come back and moved over to the new room completely. Half an hour later, a staff just walked into the new room with master key. Imagine being rushed to pack and move a room, out of nowhere, after a long tiring day. If I had known that we would need to pack and move a room, I would have stayed at another hotel from beginning. Additionally, there is a construction work blocking the hotel entrance and it was painful to make long detour with luggage. It would have been nice to be given heads up knowing that the work is going on for at least weeks. The one bright side was the lady with black hair at breakfast who made us feel most welcomed each morning.

All staffs were simply awesome. They’re very gentil, supportive and friendly. The room was wonderful, specially the bathroom and amenities. The location was better than we expected, it’s so close of the principal hotspots. The only downpoint was the welcome drink. We had to take it at the bar, however there was no one at the bar whenever we went there.

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location is perfect for exploring all of Paris, nearly all of which we were able to do on foot from the hotel. The hotel itself is charming, incredibly clean and well maintained with comfy linens. The woman working at reception during the day was lovely, very friendly and helpful and was able to arrange an early check in for us after a long overnight flight, which was much appreciated. We’re staying again at the end of our trip and would return here were we to visit Paris again!
