Mercure Paris Tour Eiffel Grenelle: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Service and exceptionaly helpful staff"

22nd February 2013, Brandon198010, Dublin, Ireland

We stayed in Mercure Paris Tour Eiffel Grenelle while on a short 3 night stay in Paris. I found the staff to be really helpful and the sevice and friendliness second to none. The day, night and cleaning staff always had a smile and and were ready to go that eatra mile. The Hotel was very central & well suituated and access on bus, metro or walking presented no difficulty. If walking make sure you bring good shoes as there is loads to see and do. I didnt take breakfast in the hotel as I felt it was expensive, but that was my budget ! A great market just outside the door. The ladies will love it :-)

Mercure Paris Tour Eiffel Grenelle: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Paris for new year"

5th January 2013, JulieUnitedKingdon, United Kingdon

Staff very helpful and friendly, speaking perfect English. Metro stop directly opposite hotel, very convenient. Eiffel Tower very close which was great for new years eve. The beds were comfortable and the hotel was peaceful at night.

Mercure Paris Tour Eiffel Grenelle: 3.0 out of 5 stars "A nice experience"

2nd November 2012, Hamedoo, Manama, Bahrain

Hotel was good and located near many touristic spots in Paris. some wihin walking distance. However, Room was warm to hot eventhough there is a cooling AIRCON but seems it is not cooling nad had to open the window before going to bed to cool the room which is very noisy as well as to wait to cool off before closing the window again and later to wake up and open again to cool down,,,was an experience'did not complain or report it to the Reception'It would be great to add additional TV channels in English as only BBC and CNN are very boring specially for toursits who may want to spend little extra time in the room watching interesting programs

Mercure Paris Tour Eiffel Grenelle: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Great location - hotel a bit tired"

9th September 2012, InezEdinburgh, Edinburgh

We always choose Accor hotels - usually Ibis or Novotel. This hotel was a little disappointing. It seemed like it needed a bit of an upgrade all round. The room was fine but the decor was scruffy and the whole place including the staff were just a bit tired! We had breakfast the first morning which was Ok, but breakfast in the cafe next door semed much better value to us. On the plus side, its location was excellent - right opposite the Dupleix Metro station and close to the Eiffel Tower.

Mercure Paris Tour Eiffel Grenelle: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Paris 2012"

26th August 2012, Michaelfisher1000, Cardiff, United Kingdom

Second time in the City. Stayed at Mercure nearer Eiffel Tower last year. This Hotel better VFM, excellent breakfast included, location excellent for Metro, Eifel Tower and Cafes etc. Friendly staff. All in all good value and did not detract from holiday.

Mercure Paris Tour Eiffel Grenelle: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Best stay Eiffle Hotel"

18th August 2012, Paristrip_12, Glasgow, United Kingdom

I stayed at hotel with my sister who had travelled from Australia, we has a bad start as room on 5th floor developed a leak in celing due to condensation from air-con system, but the room was changed immediately to room on 4th floor opposite Eiffle Tower, great view at night. Metro just across road and with double glazing noise level very quite. Staff charmimg and very kind and helpful whenever you needed advise for directions. Breakfast was great value for money too. A good location for Effel Tower and the bus trips with night cruise a must for anyone new to Paris.

Mercure Paris Tour Eiffel Grenelle: 3.0 out of 5 stars "ok at best"

12th July 2012, London, United Kingdom

- traveled with my 2 teenager children - rooms are typically small as they often are in europe - service is at best ok as it is often the case in Paris summer time when abused by abundant tourism - way over priced if compared with other big european cities for the same period - walking distance to 'Champ de Mars' and Eiffel Tower and other landmarks is a big plus!

Mercure Paris Tour Eiffel Grenelle: 1.0 out of 5 stars "Never again will I stay here"

1st June 2012, dougcalgary, Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Absolutely horrible front-desk staff. Refused to call taxi and suggest alternatives. Room service non-existent as they never answered the phone. Asking for a bucket of ice was like asking for a million dollars....they insisted on only one small cup of ice.....must have been a goverment order to ration ice at this hotel. Asked for additional cream for coffee; refused to provide more than one. Seemed to go out their way to be miserable.

Mercure Paris Tour Eiffel Grenelle: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Perfect Location"

23rd May 2012, RushJakarta, Jakarta

The location beats everything. Within walking distance to Eiffel Tower (I like to walk anyway) and surrounded by restaurants. Metro station just in front of you. Kinda agree with dated furnitures, they need to refurbish. But, after all, we can look the other way.

Mercure Paris Tour Eiffel Grenelle: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Great hotel for visiting Paris"

14th May 2012, paultheunissen54, Arnhem, The Netherlands

I stayed at this hotel with my son for one night. The location of the hotel was good and easily accessible by car. In addition, the hotel has its own garage that guests can use at a fair price. The room was clean and the service and friendliness of the personell was excellent. Overall, it is a nice hotel that I would like to recommend.

Mercure Paris Tour Eiffel Grenelle: 1.0 out of 5 stars "arrogance"

4th May 2012, 597Jean1972, Paris, France

Booked with vouchers but when I arrived they claimed that the booking should be paid by Credit Card. Evening before I checked once more with the receptionist and she confirmed: payment by vouchers. The lady I spoke was there but said she could not remember. No apologies, no solution. I had no other option than pay the room cash.French arrogance!

Mercure Paris Tour Eiffel Grenelle: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Great Location"

7th February 2012, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

The location is great as it is located in front of a Metro station.Friendly employees ever ready to serve you. The hotel room is kinda small. The fact that you cann see Eiffel Tower from your room, makes you fall in love all over again.

Mercure Paris Tour Eiffel Grenelle: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Conveniently close to metro"

24th January 2012, Antwerp, Belgium

I enjoyed the fact that we were so close to the metro. The connections to other metro lines easy and main tourist attractions. Pleasant restaurants in nearby area. Very comfortable nice rooms with bath and shower. Good breakfast and service. Close enough to the Eiffel tower to walk.

Mercure Paris Tour Eiffel Grenelle: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Musing of a francophile"

20th October 2011, West Hartford, Connecticut, USA

For the price charged, this hotel does not represent a good value. I have stayed in a number of Mercure Hotels in Paris and in differing locales in France, and this one was not one of the better ones. For example, I stayed at your Mercure Hotel near Charles de Gaulle Airport on October 7th and that one was more than expected.

Mercure Paris Tour Eiffel Grenelle: 1.0 out of 5 stars "Worse Service Ever"

8th September 2011

The view was great but it ended there. Phone did not work. Elevator did not work. TV did not work. I went to desk and was told someone would be up to talk to us. We are seniors, but that did not happen. i GUESS THEY COULD NOT CLIMB THE STAIRS. i HAVE YET TO SEE MY FINAL BILL BUT I AM SURE NOT OTHER DISCOUNTS WERE GIVEN. We had no wash clothes, which I suppose is Nornal for Paris. nOT ENOUGH TO TOWELS. Nobody IN THE HOTEL spoke ENGLISH That was very difficult since I spoke no French. We were comped Breakfast, 39.00 EURO but I feel that would have been a given considering we were on the 5th floor and No elevator. Thankfully we were only there 1 night. When we asked for someone to call us a cab they did not, and nobody offered to help get our luggage down all those stairs knowing we were checking out. I could not call for help because we had NO PHONE. It was very bad and I would never stay with This Hotel again . Ever......!!!!!!

Mercure Paris Tour Eiffel Grenelle: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Boutique hotel with comforts of mercure"

5th September 2011, Gold Coast, Australia

Very good location. Fairly large room for a Parisien Hotel. Hotel service not the best, but definitely not the worst. Has a boutique hotel feel with all the comforts of an accor hotel. 5-10 minute walk to Eiffel Tower. Good colour themes in rooms and the hallways make you know your in Paris.
