"Perfect Location"
23rd May 2012, RushJakarta, Jakarta
The location beats everything. Within walking distance to Eiffel Tower (I like to walk anyway) and surrounded by restaurants. Metro station just in front of you. Kinda agree with dated furnitures, they need to refurbish. But, after all, we can look the other way.
"Great hotel for visiting Paris"
14th May 2012, paultheunissen54, Arnhem, The Netherlands
I stayed at this hotel with my son for one night. The location of the hotel was good and easily accessible by car. In addition, the hotel has its own garage that guests can use at a fair price. The room was clean and the service and friendliness of the personell was excellent. Overall, it is a nice hotel that I would like to recommend.
"arrogance"
4th May 2012, 597Jean1972, Paris, France
Booked with vouchers but when I arrived they claimed that the booking should be paid by Credit Card. Evening before I checked once more with the receptionist and she confirmed: payment by vouchers. The lady I spoke was there but said she could not remember. No apologies, no solution. I had no other option than pay the room cash.French arrogance!
"Great Location"
7th February 2012, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
The location is great as it is located in front of a Metro station.Friendly employees ever ready to serve you. The hotel room is kinda small. The fact that you cann see Eiffel Tower from your room, makes you fall in love all over again.
"Conveniently close to metro"
24th January 2012, Antwerp, Belgium
I enjoyed the fact that we were so close to the metro. The connections to other metro lines easy and main tourist attractions. Pleasant restaurants in nearby area. Very comfortable nice rooms with bath and shower. Good breakfast and service. Close enough to the Eiffel tower to walk.
"Musing of a francophile"
20th October 2011, West Hartford, Connecticut, USA
For the price charged, this hotel does not represent a good value. I have stayed in a number of Mercure Hotels in Paris and in differing locales in France, and this one was not one of the better ones. For example, I stayed at your Mercure Hotel near Charles de Gaulle Airport on October 7th and that one was more than expected.
"Worse Service Ever"
8th September 2011
The view was great but it ended there. Phone did not work. Elevator did not work. TV did not work. I went to desk and was told someone would be up to talk to us. We are seniors, but that did not happen. i GUESS THEY COULD NOT CLIMB THE STAIRS. i HAVE YET TO SEE MY FINAL BILL BUT I AM SURE NOT OTHER DISCOUNTS WERE GIVEN. We had no wash clothes, which I suppose is Nornal for Paris. nOT ENOUGH TO TOWELS. Nobody IN THE HOTEL spoke ENGLISH That was very difficult since I spoke no French. We were comped Breakfast, 39.00 EURO but I feel that would have been a given considering we were on the 5th floor and No elevator. Thankfully we were only there 1 night. When we asked for someone to call us a cab they did not, and nobody offered to help get our luggage down all those stairs knowing we were checking out. I could not call for help because we had NO PHONE. It was very bad and I would never stay with This Hotel again . Ever......!!!!!!
"Boutique hotel with comforts of mercure"
5th September 2011, Gold Coast, Australia
Very good location. Fairly large room for a Parisien Hotel. Hotel service not the best, but definitely not the worst. Has a boutique hotel feel with all the comforts of an accor hotel. 5-10 minute walk to Eiffel Tower. Good colour themes in rooms and the hallways make you know your in Paris.
"bit less than expected"
15th June 2011, Ventura
Most staff were friendly and helpful. We had reservation for a room with 2 twin beds. Twice we were sent to a room with one double bed. The third time we had to ask for the manager. It's an old building and hotel needs some upgrading. Rooms are small but comfortable enough. Hotel is located in a busy & noisy area. There is a metro station within few steps across the street. which makes it convenient for those intending to use the Metro. Eifel Tower is within 12 minute walk. Many restaurants and cafes are very close by and there is a wonderful farmer's market right in front of the hotel on Wednesdays and Fridays. Beds are comfortable, but impossible to sleep at night with the window opn due to the noisy street. The hotel claims to be a 4 star hotel. I think I give it 3.

"Great Place to stay"
26th January 2011, melbourne
The location and rooms were excellent. The price for the bufet breakfast was a little overpriced for the quality and selection of the food.If you know a breakfast place nearby I recommend you having it there. The wifi worked fine.. everything was superb
"excellent location, dismal room"
27th December 2010, melbgiggs, singapore
The location of the hotel is one big drawing factor, with the Dupleix station just 1 min away from the hotel. The Eiffel Tower is 1 station away so it isn't that near per se but still reachable either by foot or metro. Don't waste your money on having breakfast in the hotel as there is a lovely Bistro Dupleix next to the hotel where you get awesome breakfast at 8.80 Euro with tea/coffee and orange juice and a huge set of English breakfast. We were so in love with the waiters there who treated us like family. Who says French are snobbish huh?All else said, the room was in a shabby condition, eagerly needing a spruce up. The worst of all must be the eerie corridor. It is so quiet and 80s that make it a perfect shooting location for any scary movie. Finally, the key is literally a key, not the smart card type of key. Definitely not the safest doorlock I must say. The metal heating coil in the kettle is rusty. The bathtub is chipped.Need I say more?
