"Business trip"
2nd April 2012, Cranbrook, United Kingdom
Nothing wrong with the hotel but found the room very hot and stuffy as aircoditioning was switched off throughout the hotel. Only fan working. Opening window to cool room but it became very noisy. (traffic noise).I have stayed at this hotel in other occasions and when airconditioning is working it is fine.
"inefficient air con;"
30th March 2012, Leamington Spa, United Kingdom
air con not very cool at night, did not seem to change temp; as required...otherwise as usual good staff and nice rooms, stayed here several times as access to buses to airport/town or quick taxi links. Do take care when walking to local 'jumbo' shopping centre; as very narrow walkway across gulley bridge on the main road into town..
"Overnight Stopover"
24th February 2012, winchester
Excellent location for overnight stopover using Faro airport (we used both coming and going from a Spanish trip) - less than 10 minutesdrive away). Very good value (we used the 21 day advance booking). Rooms clean and comfortable for this grade of hotel. Ate in the restuarant - again good value but second time the "dish of the day" was dissapointing - beans and rice okay but the meat (think it was pork) was very fatty/gristly. The young man on reception was excellent - very helpful and with good English.
"Excellent Hotel, Bit of a walk"
23rd February 2012, London, United Kingdom
This is a great hotel on the outskirts of Faro with friendly and helpful staff and amazingly comfortable rooms.Plus pointsReally great staffAmazingly comfortable RoomsSpectacularly good value for moneyNice little swimming poolGreat breakfastsNegatives (and this is only being really picky)Without a car it is a bit of a way out of town, about a 30 minute walk into the centre. During the day you can walk in on the path next to the railway line which is quiet and peaceful, but doesn’t have lighting so would be a bit of a problem at night. Otherwise you can walk in along the road, but the first couple of hundred yards it’s along the edge of a fast four lane dual carriageway with no pavement so it’s a little scary. You still have to walk along it to get to the bus stop (irregular times, but about hourly) and you’ve got to cross four lanes of traffic if you get the bus back in from town. Alternatively cabs were about €5.50 during the day, €8 at nightOverall, I’d really recommend this hotel and a stay in Faro which is a great town with lots to see.

"Good nights sleep"
2nd July 2011, aljezur
having flown into faro airport at 10pm with 100km to drive to our destination this hotel was a godsend. It is just off the main road from the airport . I donot know if I missed the main turning but turning at the sign for industrial zone it was just in front of us. Clean with a good pool and all facilities will stay there again when traveling to the far west algarve
"Good hotel near airport"
24th June 2011, Mike_the_Bruin, Saint-Petersburg, Russia
The big advantage of this hotel is that is on the way to Airport. So, if you are flying to or from Faro it's a good hotel to stay overnight and move further as we did. If you a looking for hotel to visit Faro's sites it's probably not good idea as it's far from it and you need car to get there. The hotel itself not that new (compare to other Ibises) but still in very good conditions.
"Ibis Faro"

Value for money and very close to the airport, so convenience is a big factor in using this hotel. Good standard but service a little slow. Overall though very good value for money as a short one night stopover.
"a good ibis hotel as usual"
3rd April 2011, Alyth
This hotel will well placed if you have a car otherwise not so great I guess. It was clean, polite friendly staff and the room and shower in good operational condition. Although near a main road it was not noisy.
