"Excellent Location and Helpful Staff (a bit noisy in the mornings!)"

The hotel is excellently situated just off the Grand Place and the staff were always smiling and helpful. The only drawback was that the surroundings were noisy early on Wednesday morning (when the market was setting up round the corner) and Thursday morning (when the road cleaner did a very thorough job cleaning the street, which took a long time!)

My stay at the Ibis in Arras, France was excellent. The location is very good - quiet street but close to the main square, and within easy walking distance of the train station; the rooms are functional but well equipped and very clean; friendly multi lingual staff with 24 hour service; a good continental breakfast is available but no main restaurant. For the price of only Euro 49 per night this was excellent. Highly recommended.

Arriving late in the evening it was quite tricky to find the hotel; whilst there are some signposts on the way into the centre, once you are in the immediate area (a maze of one-way streets) thereare no indications to follow. Just illuminating the Ibis sign would be a good step. There is no car park but reasonable numbers of on street parking places nearby. The desk personnel were helpful, but didn't tell me at first that although you had to pay for the street parking from 9 am, you could buy a ticket the night before. I thought I had to get up and move the car before 9am. The room was basic but comfortable, very clean and quite quiet. Breakfast was really good, lots of choice and good tea. It was very easy to find places to eat dinner just around the corner from the hotel, and it is right in the centre for sight-seeing and the Saturday market.

Good location not easy to find. Parking could be an issue ,We were lucky to find a space.Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby the market squares were buzzing on the friday night.

We visited Arras for the Car show and stayed at the Ibis Arras which was perfect location for show and night life Th reception were ready with our room keys every time we returned.....Wonderful stay

This IBIS hotel is in an excellent location in the heart of the city center - right next to the lovely Grand’Place and Place des Héros! Rooms are small, but clean and quiet. Perfect for a night stop. Arras is worth a visit.

Very friendly staff helped us get our car parked legally, advised us of a great nearby restaurant and of some Somme battlefield sights for the following day. The restaurants and bars in the splendid large main squares (wonderfully lit at night) are just seconds away and we were really pleased that they were busy with people up to and beyond midnight on our February Friday night stay, when many French towns are closed. Our rooms were functional, very clean and quiet. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection to choose from. Staff were very helpful on departure and helping us on our way.

We stayed here for one night on our way to the Alpes and found it to be a very nice hotel. It's in a very good position (although a little hard to find in the car) with plenty of onstreet parking. The front desk staff were very helpful and polite. The room we had was very small but had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean.Arras is a lovely town and definitely worth a visit.

I came to Arras to see Vimy Ridge and other WW1 sites in the Somme region. This hotel was centrally located, just off the main squares and a few blocks from the train station. The decor and room was generic and corporate of course, but it was clean and functional. I got an unusally small room, but they did give me a discount when I paid at check-out for this room. I slept well. The wifi was free and easy to use. I did not take the breakfast, being France, I'd rather go to a boulangerie and get my own tasty cheaper breakfast. Parking was easy, with the underground garage nearby at Grand Place for 10.50e a day. I slept well. It wasn't exciting but it was a pleasant, easy stay.

Hotel is very central within steps of the two main squares. We parked on the street around the corner quite easily but you had to feed it every two hours until six and after nine in the morning - apparently parking is policed very well! The desk staff were friendly and gave us good advice and the TV and internet worked well. Room was good, clean basic but well designed. Breakfast was very good too - just loved the crepes with Nutella ! We only stayed for one night on our way home as it is not too far from the Tunnel but we would thoroughly recommend it as it is very convenient !

The hotel is a typical Ibis set up - clean and efficient. The breakfast was buffet style and as an added bonus they served it till 12 although stocks had been depleted a litlle when we arrived late on the saturday morning. The staff were extremley helpful and spoke very good english after I had exhausted my French vocabulary. IThe hotel is situated just off the Place D'Heroes, so it extremely central for everything. There is no parking, but you can park in the one of the three main squares - but not on Friday night / Saturday morning as there is a market every Saturday morning which takes up all three squares. There is an underground car park under the squares but we did not use this as were able to park out motorbike outside the hotel without any problems. We frequented the Coulour cafe which is in the Place D'heroes. It is extremely lively and both the staff and cliental were extremely friendly. This cafe gets the early evening sun so does get very busy so grab a table. We visted the Boves (entrance thru the Belfry) and the Wellington caves ( a short walk). Both are extremely interesting and the guides are well informed. make sure you do the Boves before the Wellington caves. All in all a very relaxing weekend

A 10 minute walk from the Arras train station. Well worth the walk as this hotel puts you right in the very centre of town with the grand Place to the left 50 metres and the Place des Heroes to the right 50 metres. Very attentive front desk staff. Clean, well appointed rooms.

A great hotel. The staff were delightful, the rooms a little small but functional and quiet with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast is ample and varied. Altogether a good place to stay in this beautiful town. There is a variety of restaurants within walking distance and parking on the Grand' Place is easy and close to the hotel. Check with the hotel about paying for parking.

Not the most luxurious hotel, but this is reflected in the price which was excellent value for money. What it lacks in space it makes up for with a great location right beside the Place de Heroes which is right at the heart of Arras.
