"lack of sleep too hot"

staff at weekend not able to change light bulb, mend plug in sink or explain or adjust heating or write down complaint !so room really stuffy with no air circulation, strange as weather mild and room on north side.The window opened for cool down but plastic curtains prevented air movement ( the floodlights too bright with curtains open

I really enjoyed the 2 stops there and the return journey back from Italy. The hotel links with a restaurant that is better than average. The food was so good, the staff so helpful and it was just great. The rooms didnt have airconI believe, but I may have that wrong. We were a bit hot on the trip down. I had got used to the heat on the way back!.Thank you to all the staff, so good.

This is a good Ibis - we've stayed in quite a few over the years, and some have been distinctly better than others. Basic, but good-sized, clean and comfortable rooms, and pleasant staff. We're picky about beds, but those in Ibis are as good, if not better, than many in much higher-priced establishments.Minor whinges? Well, it would be nice if they still supplied real soap rather than the wall-attached dispensers (we know cost is all now, but...) An extra pillow each would be really good.The restaurant at St Dizier has been handed over to Courtpaille (don't know if this a general move - hope not), which is OK. However, we actually preferred the old Ibis restaurants; they weren't exciting, but the food was reliable and just what was needed after a long journey. Breakfast is good.Ibis is still our preferred choice of hotel while travelling, and St Dizier fits the bill nicely.
"Overnight Stay on route to Switzerland"

We regularly stay at the St-Dizier Ibis hotel on our route to Switzerland. The hotel is about half way on the route, the security is very good with the reception manned entry point to the hotel. The car park is enclosed and well lit deterring any persons intent of causing problems. The adjacent restaurant is very good and provides a good selection of grilled food.
