The Ibis is Hasselt is a little "tired" but in general it was OK, staff were friendly and the location was convenient

pros- clean tidy good location nice staff free internetcons- breakfast @ 13.50euros way too expensive so didn't have it room noisey, can hear people in next room talking and having sex. Window needs replacing/fixing as can hear people talking on the pavement and i was on the 3rd floor.

"Interesting stop-over"

On our way to longer stay in Netherlands - hotel well situated on route, turned out to be a good choice, in an ideal location for getting to the town centre. Easily found on entry into town. Regretted not staying 2 nights, since Hasselt turned out to be an interesting place, as the staff pointed out. This was the 47th Ibis hotel I have stayed in throughout Europe, and it served my purpose well. Helpful friendly staff.Will use again if I plan another trip to Germany or Netherlands.NOTE parking limited - only 7 places, but free public parking approx 100m down the road.Advise phone hotel for details before you arrive - they speak good English.

"Functional Brick Block"

Standard Ibis, parking dire, lot of Friday night drinking (typical for a central location) so rowdy and rooms a bit patched up. Service friendly, breakfast good, microwave bar meal about as vile as I have tasted in a long time, served free with Delerium Tremens, a new local beer, says it all really.

Hotel has car parking for only 8 cars so if you get there later you need to park about a 10 minute walk away. Not very convenient. Also the rooms on the front are noisy due to traffic and I was kept awake by rowdy guests until I changed rooms at 2.20am!

I apologize for the negative experience that you had with us, since we constantly strive to offer quality to our guests.It is true that our hotel only has a limited parking, Hasselt however has several public parking facilities (both paying and free), the closest which is situated at only 250 meters. Our people have been made aware of this difficulty, as well as on the different options to offer.I strongly regret that we were unable to give you a good night's rest, therefore I will make sure that your comment is shared with the entire staff, in order to be more reactive to such situations. We are currently also looking into the possibilities of improving the sound isolation, in order to counter the peaks of traffic noise.Thank you again for sharing your experience and I hope that we wil have the opportunity to welcome you again.

"Hasselt Ibis"

Fine location, rooms a little on the small side. The first room that we were given had not been made up and was left as the last occupants had left it. We were given another immediately, but not a great start to the stay after a long drive.
