The Ibis Muenchen City is typical of the Ibis brand. Clean, bright, welcoming and now with very comfortable beds.The rooms are functional with limited storage space but they are ideal for a stay of few days. It is close to the main railway station and the main shopping areas of Munich. The nearby S Bahn gives very easy access to all parts of the city. It offers good value for money.

Beautiful bed had a good sleep after a very long flight journey. very clean, conveniently located, easy check in and check out, good food, i would recommend all to stay in this hotel.the room had a television which had only German channels, no complemented bottled water was provided, bath rooms were very small. room heaters were slow.

Stayed with 5 friends for one night. Very convenient for railway station and central Munich. Staff very helpful. A quality hotel for the price. Rooms were fairly small but were well-equipped and very comfortable. We have stayed here before and will not hesitate to do so again in future.

I have stayed in Accor Hotels on several times.I can say that the Ibis Muenchen City is run on German efficiency.Staying at the Accor Hotels is always a pleasure, no frills attached but good value for your money.

Very good location, 10 min walking from the train station. Decent breakfast but not much options for low sugar dietsRoom is a little bit small but not much they can do about it.Helpfull staff, clean and new hotel, really enjoyed.

Stayed for a long weekend in January - very cold outside but warm welcome and very pleasant stay in the Ibis. Smart, clean and professionally run hotel, good food and exceptional value. Little bit of a walk from main strip but easily manageable and was good to be out of the throng

Good hotel, but somehow every time I'm staying in Ibis or Novotel I'm getting the room close to lifts or drying room?!!However, the receptions was nice and have given me another room...The hotel is situated close to city centre.

I've stayed here a few times in the past couple of years and have always been happy. You can't beat the location. It's just minutes from the railway station.This time however I stayed here twice in one week and was surprised to find that the cleaning staff had done a really shoddy job with the room. The first time, there were somebody else's clothes hanging on the inside of the window... And the second time, the staff had forgotten to add soap... You'd think that a hotel chain like this would pay attention to detail like this...

Ibis in Germany offers a wide and generous breakfast, including all coffee specialties, boiled and scrambled eggs, sausages, 4 different breads, 5 different rolls, cheese, cold cuts, cereals, marmelade, yoghurt, fresh fruit, fruit pulp….. Concerning you worries about the surrounding of our hotel, we are located downtown Munich close to the main station, a very multicultural neighborhood like in the most capitals and Munich is the safest one in Germany, so please be assured that up to now, not one of our guest did have any problems.Hoping that our explanations and apologies will find your acceptance and understanding, I remain, Christian Koentopp, General manager Ibis Munich City

"It is an Ibis, it isn't supposed to be luxury"

This hotel is within walking distance of the HBF, best when using the Nord exit from the station...it will cut much surface street walking. I have to admit, if I'd seen the neighborhood before I booked, I may have booked elsewhere, but not to worry if you're looking to spend time at Boobs, a Gentelmen's Club which is just down the street.Breakfast was good, and I made sure to eat my 10 euro worth. It certainly beat looking for some.I thought the housekeepers were a bit aggressive in their cleaning efforts, which isn't bad, unless you're still in your room half dressed.
