ibis Heidelberg: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Heidelberg IBIS"

12th April 2012, zimmerlot, Brigerbad Switzerland

Clean hotel in central locationSmall bath room and the noise of level was quite high (other guests and also near train station)The breakfest buffet was great and should be in to the price automatically.

ibis Heidelberg: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Perfect service"

2nd April 2012, Antwerp, Belgium

I stay 3 to 4 nights a week in hotels in Northern Europe. Mostly I stay within the Accor group and a lot of times in Ibis hotels. You know what you get for what price. About the Ibis hotel in Heidelberg, I have to say that this is the best Ibis hotel I ever visited and that thanks to the marvellous atmosphere created by the complete staff. Since september 2011, I stayed in this hotel 3 times and all staff I met are really concerned with their customers. Gratulations to the management for having created a motivated, friendly and nice staff. I will be back.

ibis Heidelberg: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Heidelberg Ibis"

12th March 2012

The Heidelberg Ibis is next door to the Train Station and near to tram and bus stop, so it was really easy to travel all around the city and the towns near to it.The room was relatively small, basic and minimally furnished, but really clean, so was the bathroom. In spite the fact that our room was facing the main street, as soon as the windows were shut it was totally quiet. The staff was English speaking and really helpful. The Wi-fi was fine.If you are looking for an affordable, clean, room, then the Heidelberg Ibis is the right choice.

ibis Heidelberg: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Usual Ibis value for money and convenient for the station"

28th February 2012, Warsaw61, Warsaw

The hotel is right next to the main station so very convenient for travellers and not as noisy as expected (the announcements could sometimes be heard during the night. It is quite a good walk to the old town (at least 20 minutes and then probably another 10-15 minutes to the castle). Everything else was up to the usual Ibis standard; clean, efficient staff, good breakfast.

ibis Heidelberg: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Stay in Heidelberg"

31st January 2012, Mons, Belgium

Excellent location next to the Bahnhof. Easy tram ride to Altstadt. Tasty breakfast each morning. Wi-fi worked just fine. Easy drive to US military facilities in Heidelberg. Friendly and helpful staff.

ibis Heidelberg: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Close to the railway station"

28th January 2012, Leusden

Very close to railway station. The speaker at the railway station was heard in my room and waked me up at arround 6.00 in the morning.Very friendly and helpfull staff. Nice breakfast faccillity in the basement.

ibis Heidelberg: 4.0 out of 5 stars "HEIDELBERG REGULÄR"

8th January 2012, Heidelberg, Germany

probably best quality for the price in heidelberg if you are familiar with the city's bus & tram schedules & routes. recommend requesting a room facing the railroad tracks, versus the parking lot. because of a 24/7 mcdonalds and multiple 24/7 bus stops & parking, it can be quite loud.

ibis Heidelberg: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Good job as usual---but toilet/bath too small"

5th January 2012, Kuwait City, Kuwait

Good job as usual---but toilet/bath too small----------was this a renovation----interior walls of corridor very strange and exterior ugly-----------------but interior still thoughtful ---I still love IBIS----this one is just a bit challenged with such a small room and bath----toilet virtually unusable for someone over 6'2" tall

ibis Heidelberg: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Heidelberg Isis"

20th October 2011, Sydney, Australia

This hotel met our expectations in all respects; it represents good value for money. The room was clean and comfortable; the breakfast good and the staff pleasant and helpful. The hotel was close to the old city and alongside were good restaurants.

ibis Heidelberg: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Watch the distance from the city centre"

19th September 2011, Southampton, United Kingdom

Unfortunately the hotel is not 0.27km from the city centre as advertised - more like 2.7km, something to be noted. Apart from that it is everything you would expect. Coffee shops and cafes at the adjacent train station are excellent.

ibis Heidelberg: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Overnight Stop"

5th September 2011, Newbury, United Kingdom

The hotel provided a good overnight stop and in particular the disability facilities for my wife, who is a wheelchair user, were good.It would be helpful if the hotel could provide details of the parking arrangements with its advance information, perhaps on the website, as these are not at all obvious when you arrive.

ibis Heidelberg: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Fine - no problems"

16th August 2011, london

No noise from train station as long as you keep windows closed and air conditioning on. For some reason doors from car park are locked which caused me to try to scale muddy bank at side of hotel to front door. Walk to castle in 40 mins and can be a drag in hot weather. McDonalds is 30 secs away.

ibis Heidelberg: 3.0 out of 5 stars "business trip"

30th July 2011, Gaia

Average experience and good value. Good location, public transport system on the hotel door (train, tram and taxi) . Rooms need to be refurbished and are quite small for 2 people. Bathroom with essential equipment, but really small.

ibis Heidelberg: 3.0 out of 5 stars "good location only if travelling by train"

18th July 2011, The Hague

The hotel is a 30 minute walk through a not-so-good neighbourhood from the main attraction (Altstadt and the castle) but it is literally next door to the train station - they share the same parking lot. Fortunately there is plenty of access to busses and trams. The rooms in the hotel are small but adequate and the people at the front dest were helpful and professional.

ibis Heidelberg: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Short stay"

10th July 2011, Nottingham

Lovely clean hotel but the shower in our room was very small, not much elbow room. Free parking outside - quite a hike to the castle though - you really need tranpsort to there and same to old town. But good value for money and friendly staff.
