"Typical budget hotel"

It is what it says it is. Rooms are small and basic, breakfast was satisfactory, free Internet in lobby.Rooms were clean, service was prompt. Would recommend to the business traveller staying for a night or two.

I like the IBIS consept and the location close to Haupbahnhof. I also like the possibility to use internet without bringing your own computer. The only problem i can see is the realtivly small toilett - it is no problem for me and may wife as we are not too fat - but it must be a problem for fat people. We oalso like the possibility to eat or drink at all time.

Nice hotel, recently re-furbished, typically Ibis style, very reliable and good value for monty. bath room a little too small, unfortunately, there is only free Wifi in the lobby, breakfast was a little crowded, but staff did their best to accomodate everyone.

Average hotel. If you are not bothered about room, and cramped bathroom, and lack of amenities, then this is the place. It is in a convenient central location, so that is the biggest plus.Breakfast is average, but since the breakfast room has been refurbished, it is much more pleasent

The hotel has recently been refurbished so is spotlessly, almost clinically, clean. Breakfast was, however, somewhat disorganised. Breakfast trays had not been cleared leading to shortages of cups, glasses and cutlery. A bit more "management" and this would be a very good value hotel.

Staying at the Ibis isn't the first choice when you think of a place to stay over but the staff's friendliness and helpfulness made my stay very enjoyable and a real pleasure. With easy access to the train station and a nice walk to the center of town, I would recommend the Ibis Normaluhr for anyone needing a basic yet comfortable place to stay.

At €10 the breakfast did not represent value (especially has not all food items were available). Items were not replaced when exhausted - even though the breakfast buffet had only been open 45mins.Snack services did not offer choice.

Usual standard of Ibis hotel but the bathroom was a little on the small side.The hotel is 10 minutes walk from the Rathaus and about the same to the main station where you can get trains to Cologne and beyond.Ideally located for the Christmas Market and then the same on Cologne.Breakfast very steep at E10 so we went to the station where rolls and tea are about half the price of Paris stations.Could not get any british TV channels not even BBC World.Parking in the hotel complex is E6 a night and it can take some tall vehicles depending on how many cars are in the car park.The bar prices are slightly better than French Ibis hotels.
