"Does the job"
20th April 2012, Portsmouth
We stayed here for one night as a stopover. It was a reasonably large room but a very small bathroom. However, for the price we paid, and for the purpose of the stay, it did the job. We only wanted somewhere to lay our heads and this room was perfect. Close to city centre with a car park next door (we however, managed to park right outside the hotel door on the street) Would stay again.

Excellent location in a clean and peaceful vicinity of Gare SNCF. Well organized and with a friendly and flexible staff.A couple of remarks, though;1. rooms with double beds should have 2 chairs (the hotels may be used by people needing a rest during a day, or escape from a period of unpleasant weather)2. Today, there is only one true language of the world. Like it or not: it's English

Hotel is very conveniently located for the train station in the heart of Tours. The hotel had some problems with our reservation and cancelled our room access cards three times in four days but this was resolved easily. Breakfast is great but the restaurant options are limited however, restaurants in town are only a short walk away.

The room was a standard Ibis room so it ticked all the Ibis boxes. Good value for money. The restaurant however left a lot to be desired. We had dinner in the hotel because it rained that night. The service was friendly but not at all efficient, it was clear to me that the influx of guests eating dinner caught the staff out and they were grossly under stafffed. My wifes salad was reasonable and the dressing was good but my veal pasta assemblage was poor and tasted like it came out of a catering pack or a tin! All the more dissapointing given that we were in France where they pride themselves on the quality of their food.
"NO AIR CON at this Hotel, but the new ibis brochre says it has !!!"
3rd September 2011
We had planned to stay at this hotel on the 23rd Aug for 2 nights, but when we got to the room I noticed it didn't have Air Con, ( it was 36'c outside), we checked the brochure and in there it said there was A/C at this hotel so we went back to reception to ask about this, we got told that the hotel just had air from outside this was a small grill in the room no bigger than a toothpaste box, the rooms at this hotel are probably the smallest in the ibis hotel group. You really couldn't feel anything from this, we did check out a room on the 5th floor but that was no better, WE didn't stay at this hotel but had to pay 7euro for 40mins parking !!We walked over the road to a Mercure hotel which was fantastic 74 euro per night inc breakfast and free parking,
"Quick Stopover"
25th July 2011, Crowthorne
Hotel is close to the SNCF but I wouldn't have known!! Hotel is not too far from the medieval town of Tours adn ws very easy to find.Rooms clean and comfortable, a typical IBIS experience. Breakfast was excellent, good quality food and all you could eat, excellent value for money.
"beware"
24th July 2011
Exellent hotel, made hard to locate as the sign saying ibis hotel is hidden behind a tree. I asked reception about parking in the hotel garage and was told it was safe where it was outside the main entrance overlooked by the 24 hour reception desk, when i went to my car inthe morning i found the wing mirror had been kicked of and the door damaged a costly 130 £ repair. The manager said not our problem.
"It's a nice hotel worth recommending"
29th June 2011, London
it's very close to the stop of T2 line thus is very convenient to be found and travel to other places. The room is big enough and very cleaning. Reception speaks both English and French, no difficulty in communication. Plus, I would like to recommend the near by Chinese restaurant which is very delicious and not expensive.
"A decent choice for a stay in Tours"
21st June 2011, Tchello, Belo Horizonte
Staff is great. Rooms are supersmall but new. Location is good for who wants to reach the train station just with a short walk. Breakfast above Ibis standards! Same old problem about ultrasmall Ibis pillows.
"quite good"
5th May 2011
Close to the reilway station, it is good for my purpose but not sure for pure turists who want to be a middle of old city . Anyway city center is 5-10 minutes walk. clean room as usually the case of Ibis. Rooms are slightly smaller than the avarage Ibis maybe but design is functionable so you don't feel it too much. Some staff are friendly and some are less but all professional. With weekend rate, good value for money.
"Enjoyable stay"
10th February 2011, Nailsworth, England
I regularly stay with IBIS when travelling in France and Germany now and I have to say that this has to be the best IBIS I have met. Very pleasant and congenial atmosphere in bars and restaurants and well sound-proofed from city noises.
"Great experience"
6th January 2011, Paris
The hotel has a great location, right next to the train station so you dont have to travel far with your bags when arriving or leaving, and its near all the big sights to see. The hotel was great. No complains.

Good value for money and good food in the resto. Room was nice but the bathroom was a little cramped. The Reception staff were very friendly and very helpful.
