"Nightmare"

Having stayed at IBIS Hotels worldwide and being in love with their quality of service, this stay here has been a nightmare, we were just counting the days to be out of the jungle. We made a big mistake going to this particular hotel. IBIS in FRANCE seems to completely different than rest of the world.

Our room was very small ....it is understaffed with only one person on reception at night and also cooking food and serving coffee and drinks....far to much for one guy to do on his own....Poor location apart from a bar/bistro across the road which did serve great food but closed at 7.30pm and stopped serving food at 3.00pm....the car park is underground and away from the hotel ...also there are major road works... so to carry your case up three flights of stairs, you then find yourself blocked in by the roadwork fences...we had to beg one of the workers to let us through. Not a great area and would not stay here again....

This hotel needs an urgent renovation, bathroom (shower) is the smallest I ever had to use, a large metal piece was peeling off the bathroom's door (h&s issue). I couldn't get my laptop connected to the free wifi. Hard to find especially in the evening, poor roadsigns and billboards. But it was a pleasure to sleep in that comfy bed.

The rooms are old, smelling, and very dirty, urgently needing any renovation; there was water in the toilet, and fungus on the walls; The staff was extremely unpleasant and unhelpful. We booked for 3 nights; stayed only 1, and run away immedietaly in the morning. HORRIBLE, horrible. We would like to warn other tourists!!!

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone regardless of the price! The hotel and the area fall well below the Ibis usual standards. I have already complained to Ibis about my stay but have not yet recieved a responce.
