We stayed at the Ibis because our flight was early the next morning. The hotel is very close to the shuttle to the terminals. The hotel is big, inviting and very modern. The rooms are clean, modern and small but functional.

This large Ibis hotel adjoins the Roissypole terminal at CDG airport and is ideally situated for staying at after that late night arrival or before an early morning departure. Rooms are quite compact but with all you need for a short stay. Ours had some pipes running vertically up the wall- an ugly afterthought and it's a pity they weren't covered in some way. The room looked out onto the departure runway but the room soundproofing was superb. With a hotel of this size, I do feel that the restaurants could have been open more than they were and the same applies to the breakfast service- it finished at 1000 after which time you had to get your breakfast at the bar. Apart from meal shortcomings, a really good hotel and top value for money.

Location is excellent as you can walk from the airport (free) train which departs from all terminals and the bus to Paris city leaves from outside the door of the hotel. Excellent for a night arrival in Paris or for staying if you have an early departure. Rooms are standard Ibis although the heating could be better. Staff are pleasant and there are plenty of cafes and eateries in the hotel and nearby.

Good Hotel. Fantastic location & connection with airport. Rooms are good and well maintained with very basic amenities. I reached the hotel at 11:30pm with my wife and child (8 years) with an advance booking for a triple room. Out of 6 - 8 counters, only one was operational; rest were empty; one counter was manned, but they non operational. We waited for more than 15 minutes to be attended and given a room. When we reached the room, the third bed was not ready and more importantly it was an used / not - cleaned room. We came back to the reception and was again made to wait for another 10 minutes for someone to be spoken to us. When the person spoke (Sebastian) - he said it's not his fault, but the fault of technology systems and housekeeping. It was unexpected to get such an irresponsible & non-ownership comment from an Accor property; and he stuck to his comment. However, they allotted a different room and Sebastian accompanied us to check us in the room which was as per expectation. We checked out the next morning. It was seamless after the check in fiasco. But the general service attitude of the hotel (reception area) requires improvement and requires adequete staffing at a supposedly busy hotel like CDG Airport. I will recommend this hotel to others only for the location with an warning on service quality.

Best part:it is right there after a ride on the circular train? What more could you wish for? Ok, if there were dancing girls, it might be better. On the other hand, a window with a view of far off paris. It really was good for me, coming from a nonstop from San Francisco and leaving in the morning for Prague.

This hotel isn't perfect, but it is incredibly convenient to Terminal 2, and if you have any interest in people-watching, you will enjoy the variety of guests. Africans, Asians, French people, Americans. It's pet-friendly, the staff are really helpful, and we have stayed here several times.

For the value, this hotel is a great choice for travelers in/out of Charles de Gaulle airport, with the CDGVAL transportation close by and with buses running frequently to the various terminals. For that reason alone, I could consider rating it very good. Mixed opinion on the service of the staff given that there are approx 740 rooms of paying customers to please. The bar staff could be more efficient, some of the front desk personnel were exceptional, others not so much. The woman who checked us in seemed to be less than excited to have us stay there but she then helped an elderly lady to her room. Everyone can have a bad day. Quality of dining is below average but I wasn't expecting a fabulous meal at an airport hotel. One individual graciously provided my husband with extra ice - a nice touch. Check-out lines can be very long at both the front desk and dining room. By pre-paying for breakast, it's much more efficient than the other meals. The breakfast is plentiful for the price we paid. Rooms basic but efficient and very clean. From inside the room, you could not hear others' voices nor airplanes. Could not make a call from the room without first going back to the front desk to pay for a phone card. Seems absurb given than I had provided my Amex card upon check in. If I'm staying in Paris, I would prefer to stay another night within the city but if traveling by car or train outside of Paris, this is a perfect choice.

The room is very small and the air condition was not turned on only ventilation.The room was very hot and if you opened a window there is a terrible noise from the airport and the roads.The hotel staff did not assist altough i have contacted them several times all they can say is that they are sorry and air condition will be turned on only in April.

Take a little time to orient yourself with the transportation accessibility close to this hotel and you will be thrilled to make it your port of call prior to departure from CDG. Four restaurants, breakfast beginning at 430 AM, bar open 7 AM to 100 AM. Spacious room and desk, well designed bathroom/shower. Who needs luxury on a stopover?

Super location for tranfer to Paris CDG airport.Typical anonymous chain hotel, but ok service and well organised reception facilities. Rooms are clean and quiet (even with the airport surrounding it), but they are small and badly heated. There was a draft from the window, and the floor was ice cold. Just a carpet on the floor would have done wonders. Bathroom seemed to have no heating at all. However, staying here during springtime and summer, this would probably not be an issue.

There are two Ibis Hotels near Charles de Gaulle airport and this is the one to choose. It is convenient - connected to the terminals by a direct train shuttle that runs constantly. You can reach this hotel from Paris by the RER (but currently there is renovation work being done on the line, so there is a replacement bus).The food selection is limited, but adequate. There is a self-service "restaurant" which is very convenient - one step up from vending machine but in a sit-down environment. The atmosphere is not very warm in the hotel lobby, but that is not why I go to stay at the airport. I need convenience, and this hotel's location and efficiency is exactly what I'm looking for.Great value.
