"Small rooms"

Hotel OK - friendly. Rooms VERY small. Good location. Near Metro. OK to stay for just a short time due to small rooms.

The hotel Ibis Bastille is well located in the heart of Paris Bastille area. On Sunday you have a great market just minutes away.The lobby is huge and inviting. The rooms are small but functional. This is Paris, you don't want to spend all your time in your room anyway. The bathroom are especially small and there is not much space to put your toiletries. The breakfast buffet is only 9 euros and offers a lot of choice in terms of continental food (croissant, cakes, yoghurt...no eggs). I would recommend to stay here.

I stayed at Ibisse between April 14-16, rooms are not huge but comfortable, the staff is pleasant and the location is superb in Paris for the price. Very safe too.

A handy location nesr to the Marais and close to Metro station. Service was good, well-stocked buffet breakfast. Hotel had its own parking - a definate plus. Rooms were small but adequate.

Great location, close to metro stations, right next to the Marais and Bastille and 15 minutes walk from Pompidou. The cheapest central hotel we could find. The room was small, but very efficient, had everything we needed and was all new and clean inside. Free wi-fi as well. The only complain would be the cleaners being very noisy outside our room in the morning talking to each other loudly and waking us up every single morning. Apart from that, no complains really. There's also a super-market just around the corner, and the hotel provides locker for luggage for 4 euros. Cheers

We stayed a Friday night.When we arrived to the room we realised that the air conditioning was not working and we had to leave the window open.The hotel is next to a building site and it is very noisy during the day but we thought we still would get a good night sleep.Unfortunately, the builders started working at 8am on Saturday.

The only little criticism i have that the hotel and rooms were very hot. Air conditioner was set to winter setting making rooms a bit more uncomfortable. Apart from that the hotel was excellent.

Stayed at the IBIS Bastille Opera which was a clean hotel in a useful location very close to the Metro and easy journey from Gare du Nord. Rooms were basic as you would expect but clean. Ate at the hotel one night and service was friendly and food of good standard.Would recommend this hotel to those on a restricted budget or just looking for somewhere clean and suitable for a short visit to Paris.

Great location, room more than adequate and breakfast great value. Ibis have come up trumps yet again. Why pay more for an upmarket hotel when you can get all you need here. Cannot recommend it more highly.

Very pleasant and helpful staff.Good restaurant and lounge area.Well placed for the museums,Metro,markets and the other attractions required by a family.Have stayed twice before and would do so again.

Small rooms and and bathrooms. Not very comfortable bed. Some problems with the room and bathroom heating as well. Good breakfast though. If the location is more important then the comfort, you can get by for a few days.

I stayed at the Ibis Bastille for a couple of nights to meet up with American cousins. It is very well located, being just moments from the Metro station and about five minutes' walk down to La Bastille, with its opera house, cafes and restaurants and of course the famous monument. The rooms can only be described as compact! Personally I think they are more suited to solo travellers than to couples, but they do provide all that you need. Excellent showers, everything was extremely clean. Breakfast was extremely good, of the self service variety, but a very wide choice of very good quality food, both hot and cold. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. To sum up - if you want a romantic weekend in Paris, this is not the place for you but if you want a centrally located base which gives excellent value, stay here!

Good Hotel, standard quality. Clean and modern. Very nice stay for business purposes. I would recommend this hotel to a friend wanting to visit Paris. I liked the reception, the restaurant. The room was a bit small but sufficient for one person.Problem wiht the satellite television.

Not too bad vaue, but: don't arive late at night, you get the snooty 'B-Team' on duty at the desk then; very limited storage space in the rooms; 'minimalist' towels; for a hotel catering to business, why can't you have somewhere where guests can print items in privacy without having to email them to the hotel front desk and be gawked at by staff?; simple tea/coffee facilities in the room would greatly improve the hotel.

Clean, quiet, good location, free wi-fi, friendly people, good breakfast.The apartments finishings are a litle tacky like all Ibis, I despise specially the floor finishing. It has small bathroom, no place for bags, clothes, etc but for the price you excuse all this.

The known hotel. There is improvement (free wifi everywhere). We prefer this hotel because because it is close to the opera and also city center is at a walk range. Metro is also easealy accessible. A simple dinner is available and we get what we pay.

I recommend this hotel to whom that is searching for a value hotel. there is free wireless internet with 200 MB download limit which you can request for more at the reception desk. the breakfast is good, i liked it but you should try nearby cafe's that are in a huge number in this neighborhood. hotel location is very close to metro station and at maximum 20 minute distance to most of city attractions.
