Unhelpful and rude staff Terrible rooms We were allocated a room on arrival where there were workmen at work on advising the staff at reception they were most unhelpful and it seemed reluctantly after a while offerred us another room.Rooms were not made up until 4pm each day staff seemed to busy arguing and smokinglovely city but terrible hotel

We chose this hotel, and weren't disappointed as we knew what we will get: A typical IBIS hotel that answered our (low) expectations in terms of comfort and service. Upon arrival we were kindly advised to look at the rooms before making a decision on either the double-bed room or the two separate beds room. As we selected the former we were offered room 314 that for some reason (the painting on the wall or the washing soap) was full of a bad smell. When asked to changed the room we were immediately offered room 202 on the back side of the noisy street. We enjoyed a quite and peaceful night after touring the small city and have now only good impressions of the hotel. That is, of room 202...

This is a typical Ibis Hotel. You get what you expect as they are all very similar. What makes this hotel paticularly good is its location. Literally 5 mins walk from the main streets of Colmar.Perfect location, typical Ibis value for money. Don't expect luxury.

Depending on the room (they have small and medium rooms at basically same price) you can have a very pleasant stay at Ibis. In the center of the town, this offers a good ratio quality/price. Staff was very kind and responsive to any demand.

Stayed here for one night on a weekend getaway. The room is barely bigger than the bed, which is saying something good about the bed! Tasteful, friendly, well-situated - just what I was looking for! Stayed in the public lot next to the hotel, which is free after 7 pm and Sunday all day.
