A conveniently located hotel for all travellers be they arriving by train or car. The hotel is located over the main railway station where the TGV terminates from Paris. (You can travel by Eurostar/TGV from London to Annecy in one day.) Although you can hear the vibrations of trains entering and leaving the station, it is important to say that there are no trains during the night that affect sleep quality. Restaurant and bar staff were attentive and made every effort to speak English. The restaurant had a separate English menu. The restaurant was reasonably priced in comparison to those in the town. Overall a pleasant hotel to use as a base for the French Alps.

Although the situation of this hotel may be very convenient for train passengers, it is not made clear in their web information that it is built over the rail station. As we were not happy with a view of the rails and trains, the only rooms with a view of the town were the executive rooms, we were charged extra to upgrade.

High value for the money. Located on top of the train station. Good service. Staff very helpful. Good restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. Convenient parking. Easy access to the city and the highway.
