I checked in late, so only had time for one drink in the bar with a colleague. So I can't comment on the hotels services. Check in and check out weer quick. The room was clean and comfortable. For a business trip it was ideal as it is very convenient for the train station

Previous stays before the hotel became part of a network the staff were more friendly. I really felt welcomed. The last couple of stays the day staff were friendly. The evening front desk is another matter. A newer male employee went out of his way to help me find where a particular Italian restaurant was, yet another gentleman was brisk and sharped toned when I asked for clarification of what my travel agent indicated on my itinerary. “That is only for premium guests. You need to take it up with your travel agent.” Made me feel, You get what you pay for. Lacking diplomacy. And know it wasn’t a language issue. When I made my travel arrangements the hotel was full. I later went on line and found there had been cancellations & had my agent change my hotel reservationn. What puzzles me is each day has a different charge according to the demand, weekend vs weekday. I will always return to the Mercure. Housekeeping is the best I’ve ever experienced!

Hotel location is good, but they provided room of single bed, which is like a store room. They did not change even after requesting many times.
