"Great service"

This hotel gave great service. They eagerly researched printing out my boarding pass, when I had problems printing it out. The bed was very comfortabel, and the food, was excellent as was the breakfast buffet. The receptions staff was exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms are a bit small, but very clean and all bathroom amenities.Everyone at the front desk were very helpful in recomending tours and restaurants and this made our stay very enjoyable and left us with very good memories of the hotel and Lisbon!Would gladly recomend to my friends

The Hotel is located at Liberdade avenue, which is walking distance to cidade baixa, up to the Tejo shore. Rooms are a bit on the small side, but very cosy, good taste, well equipped with LCD TV, Bose sound (with ipod dock if in the superior rooms) and coffee maker or espresso machine. Staff is efficient and smily. Have not eaten at the restaurant, but there are plenty of options around. In summary, great place to stay when in Lisbon.

We stayed at the hotel during four nights (three adults in two adjacent rooms). Our impression of the accommodation was definitely positive. There are many pluses and a few minuses I’ll try to summarize here:Among pluses: a) location (on a beautiful Avenida, at 10 minutes on foot from Restauradores and 12 minutes from Rossio; nearby access to underground trains); b) efficient, kind, helpful staff, both during check-in and check-out; c) clean rooms, d) fashionable furniture in rooms and common spaces, e) very comfortable beds, f) silent environment (this basically depends on neighbours obviously); g) complete bathroom accessory set, e) wealthy breakfast, good for the price.Three flaws: one transient, one improvable, one structural. Transient: the hotel’s façade is presently (as of January 2012) under restoration so the hotel is sort of enveloped by a greyish net - improvable: the business centre (just two computers and printers in a corner, sometimes out of service) is not precisely at the expected level for a Sofitel and can definitely be improved - structural: the overall bathroom surface is quite scarce (in spite of bath products being abundantly and routinely replenished). I am convinced that some people could be uncomfortable there.

Very good hotel near Lisbon center, only a short 10 minute walk to the Chiado area. Nice spacious room. The bed is extremely comfortable, maybe the best I've ever slept on. Reception desk personel very helpful. Breakfast service is nice, although expensive (18 euros/person).

Hotel has a good location and a nice style, not comparable though to the Sofitel Munich ... the rooms are in principle good, a little small though and the last renovation seems to have been a couple of years ago, so some wear and tear visible. The staff though very friendly and attentive. I felt welcome. The biggest problem was cleanliness of the bathroom. Am shocked that even in 5 star hotels housekeeping is doing a bad job. Would simply not expect hair and stains on the ceiling or bathroom floor as well as black spots between the tiles in the shower. Had a room to the main street and still got a good night sleep.

Hotel conveniently located, near the city center. The hotel provides the basic services to feel comfortable while on business trip. Wifi internet connection works correctly. Rooms are very comfortable. Bed is one of the most comfortable beds I have ever sleeped in. Staff is really polite and correct.

Location is very nice and the hotel is great. Modern and clean room with perfect beds. Ideal place to stay in Lisbon. We will definitely return here. Staff members are very friendly and willingly to help.

Easy to get to hotel on 91 bus from airport which at 3.5€ is great value. The hotel is very well situated and only a short walk from central Lisbon which has great transport using the metro, trams and buses at 3.95€ per day. The hotel rooms were very comfortable but the bar prices are quite high. In fact room service is cheaper. We didn't take the breakfast as it was chepaer to go to a local cafe. The beds were very good and free wireless was very useful. Overall we were very happy with the hotel and would recommend it for anyone visiting Lisbon.

Having stayed at the Sofitel Hotel in Budapest before we were really looking forward to staying at the Sofitel in Lisbon. The hotel certainly lived up to our expectations.We had a very pleasant stay at the Sofitel Hotel is Lisbon. The hotel is beautiful, staff are wonderful and it is in an excellent location on Avenue de Liberdade. We would highly recommend the hotel to others.

This hotel has fully awarded its five stars.The location is perfect (in the town center with metro and airport bus just in front of the hotel).The staff is extremely kind and helpful with everything.Liked best: The breakfastLiked least: Not much space (cupboards etc) to put your things in in the room.Not to forget: The prices are very reasonable if you book in advance on the www.

Our second stay here.Rooms a little lacking in wardrobe space and bathroom door design odd:non locking double doors set diagonally.Room reasonably large and quiet,at rear of hotel.located about 10-15 minutes walk from Rossio/Restauradores,on Avenida Liberdade.Airport bus stop very close.Plenty of restaurants nearby.Very helpful reception staff.Nice bar.

I booked this hotel for my parents wedding anniversary. They truly enjoyed this stay and had a lot of praise for the reception, the rooms size and decoration and the service at this Hotel which was definitely a hit. They are used to stay at very high standard 4 or 5 star Hotels so this one was good value for money.
