Generally very good - location quite quiet. Food in restaurant good, but expensive for what it was. Room was fine, but could have benefitted from tea/coffee/Nespresso machine as in some other Sofitels. Staff were helpful and efficient

Everything is good except the wifi for second devices you have you pay on your own. However, the hotel finally offered me free of charge for using wifi for my second devices as you know using peoples now have both I phone and I pad.

Found the rooms and staff to be very accommodating. Would highly recommend staying here. Great location close to Spanish Steps and Via Veneto shopping area. Restaurant had a great view and very nice food.

"Memorable stay at Sofitel Roma"

His is our second stay in Sofitel Roma Villa Borghese. Location of the hotel is excellent and it is very close to Spanish Stairs. Employees at the hotel are really excellent - from the reception desk to restaurant etc. Hotel is really comfortable and the rooms are very clean and nice. The view from the roof top restaurant is fantastic and foot is simply perfect. Simply, we felt like we are at home and enjoyed our stay very much.

"A Room with a view........."

We were delighted with our room at the Sofitel, which was spacious and comfortable. We were on the fourth floor and the room looked out on to the quiet Via Lombadia with a view over the villa and gardens of Prince Ludovisi Boncompagni. It was lovely to be in the centre of Rome and have such a view and the peace and tranquility that goes with it. Our bed was extremely comfortable, but it would have been nice to have some complimentary fruit in the room on our arrival. All the hotel staff were very helpful and pleasant. We love the area of the Via Veneto, even if it is quite a steep walk down to the main shopping areas. We had a drink in the roof terrace lounge, but decided not to celebrate my husband's birthday in the restaurant because it seemed rather lacking in atmosphere, and went instead to the roof restaurant at the Eden Hotel, which in our opinion was more romantic. I also noticed that the lights immediately outside the lounge and restaurant obstructed the view at night. However, apart from this, we really liked the hotel and will definitely stay at the Sofitel when we're in Rome again.

"No swimming pool, and expensive breakfast"

The hotel is really really good, and extremely well located. However, there is no swimming pool, and the breakfast, that is not included, is extremely expensive (30 euros / person) - what is non reasonable since one night costs more than 380 euros.

Thank you for the positive review of our hotel.Indeed we are centrally located yet on a quiet street, minutes from mythical sites and lively neighborhoods.The hotel is housed in a seven-storey 19th century historic building and unfortunately does not allow to have a pool. Nevertheless, one of the great things about Rome is its magnificent fountains and they are everywhere. There are 280 of them! So you can easily refresh on a hot day!I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed by the price of the breakfast.
