"Good Hotel, well priced for standard."

We were upgraded to a suite for free, which was wonderful. Only real complaint was they closed the in house restaurant for a private function one night so we had to go out despite being busy working on Internet that evening. Otherwise very clean and comfortable. Maybe they need more than one clapped-out old iron and a tiny ironing board in a dedicated room for the entire hotel, but minor issue.

I came from Paris to spend the evening at the opera. The location is convenient: across the street from Perrache train station - no need to take a taxi, no hassle taking the subway with your luggage, and very close to the center of the city with the subway. The breakfast buffet is very nice and the staff is friendly. My room did not have a nice view but it was very quiet. Good value. Perfect for a one night stay in Lyon.

Generally good hotel, room was too warm with no option to cool it other than opening the doors....which looked out over the railway. So warm and quiet, or noisy and cool. Otherwise pretty good hotel. The usual lack of anything to watch on TV, everything being in French, or dubbed German or Dutch.Friendly helpful staff.

We found the staff very friendly & helpful. The Hotel is ideally located and a short walk from shopping and restaurants. Although the Hotel is located opposite the train station there was absolutely no train noise - our room was extremely quiet. The rooms are very large rooms and we had a huge bathroom, There is free parking available at the front of the Hotel which was most appreciated. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay.

The hotel is a grand hotel in olf Frnech chateau style. It is convenient for Perrache and not too far nightlife in lyon, but the majority is a few metro stops away. At night the area around the hotel is not the best, as it is close to major station but i did not feel unsfae
