"Nice place to stay, Easy access to the Mont Saint Michel"

You can't beat the location of this hotel, about a mile from the Mont Saint Michel on foot, and a quick 5-minute walk to the free shuttle transportation provided for tourists. It is located inside the gated 1-mile area of the Mont Saint Michel, so you will need to ensure that you have your gate access code to get into the 1-mile area. If you don't, you need to let the traffic guards know that you have a reservation, but that you don't have the access code to lift the gate. Be aware that the access code changes every day, and as a hotel guest, you can't use your access code more than once a day. If you want to drive in and out of this location, it will cost you 1.5 euro per gate lifting -- according to the hotel staff. As far as the hotel was concerned, the rooms were clean and relatively spacious. The bathroom had a shower / bathtub combination, with separate wc (which is typical in Europe). Overall, an easy choice. The only drawback was that breakfast is not available at the hotel, so you must walk to the restaurant next door. Be aware that the breakfast there was advertised at 17 euros.

Only a 20 minute walk to Le Mont St. Michel. Situated in a great location with free parking...near restaurants and a grocery store. Welcoming staff, comfortable rooms. We very much enjoyed our visit!FYI - What was once 'free' parking on/near the causeway of Mont Saint Michel is no longer (at least during the day anyway)...they were charging 6 euro per day or more for larger vehicles.

Good location, hotel staffs were very kind. We took dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant, good taste for price. There is a supermarket near hotel and everything prepared in it. But from hotel to Mont Saint Michel by walk is little bit difficult (too far).

Right in the art of the small commercial centre at the end of the causeway to Mont St Michel this hotel made the ideal base for a 2 day visit to the Mont and its famous Abbey. The staff were friendly, the rooms bright well appointed and clean and not too small. The bathroom was on the small side but adequate and a separate toilet was an asset. The foyer had a good lounge and waiting area. The hotel had both a cocktail bar and a separate restaurant attached to it which meant that the move from room to cocktail bar to dinner was effortless and the service good in both places. And for some Aussies who speak little french the staff were all very Anglo friendly.

A clean, perfectly located that offers a lot for so little. The breakfast is excellent, the staff are very helpful, and Mont St. Michel is just a two minute drive away. The only drawback is that the hotel's exterior may need a little bit of updating as it looks like a 1980's motel.
