"Friendly staff, expensive ... soft beds and pillows :("

As above. My trip was a mix of business and pleasure. In general, disappointed that my room was located directly above and in front of the busiest bar district in the town ... not good for sleeping. The beds were very soft as were the pillows but I'm not sure if that is the norm for Netherlands' hotels, nonetheless, it made things quite uncomfortable.My final issue reflected the cost of the breakfast ... decided to eat out as opposed to spending 18 euros extra per breakfast for what seemed a buffet with moderately warmish food. On the plus side, the staff at all levels were immensely helpful and accommodating and the rooms had inclusive wi-fi.

This is a delightful hotel, but unfortunately it is right opposite a rather raucous disco that goes on till the wee hours - it is not so much the music as the cacophonies of the revellers who shout and scream in the street outside! Call the police if this happens

I first tried to book my room at the homepage of Accor Hotel. Price given as "lowest available" was not very cheap but OK. When I pressed the option, the only alternative given was a suite €30 more expensive. I then tried to call the booking office of Accor and they confirmed the higher price as the only room category available. As I had few options I choose this one. When arriving the hotel they had obviously over booked so no suite available, but only an apartment on the other side of the hotel building. Never accept this as an alternative; 3 minutes outside walk, dirty entrance +++. Arriving the apartment I found it had been used but not cleaned so I went back to the front desk. After some phone calls I was given a regular double room which was of rather low standard. Checking out next morning the price of my room had not been changed from the "suite price" so I had to inform them that this I would not accept. I'm travelling a lot related to business, and luckily I seldom meet such lack of professionalism....

A very nice hotel that I visit every year. It has a great location with many areas easily accessible. Nice friendly people also work at the hotel which makes the stay more enjoyable. The breakfast buffet has a great selection of food to choose from.

Stayed here as part of a business trip to several towns in Holland. Compared to the other hotels (all supposed 4*), this one looked a little tired, and the room was the smallest - although perfectly adequate. The highlight, however, was the 'Taste!' restaurant which was smart, friendly, efficient - and offered superb food! I should mention I used this hotel last time I stayed in Tilburg, and would plan to do so again.
