Mercure Hotel Tilburg Centrum is located at the central part of Tilburg, my room was spacious, clean and comfortable but my travel experience was rueined by terrible wi-fi internet connection. I was not able to connect to wi-fi internet from my room. I told the receptionists twice about this problem but the issue was not resolved. I don't think I will ever want to stay at a Mercure Hotel again after this terrible experience.

I enjoyed my stay. Competent service. Comfortable room. Great location. Competent service, especially Tom in the bar was a pleasure to talk to. Good spa as well. I had however big difficulties finding a space to park in front of the hotel. The hotel has parking, but no signs showing the way how to find it. I passed the hotel 2-3 times before I called them and got the directions to the parking house in the back of the hotel. In SUV or bigger car it is however very challenging to park there. But now, I know how and were to park, so I will be back to stay there next time I´m around.

We stayed on a busy weekend in February (Valentines and a Toto concert) and checked in quite late so the double room we had booked was not available. Instead, we were offered an upgrade to a one bedroom apartment next door. The apartment was very nice and had plenty of space but was looking a bit tired. There were potted plants that hadn't been watered for quite a long time and the wooden flooring had seen better days. No room servicing was done while we were there so no clean towels and the bed wasn't made. Although an upgrade, I might have preferred one of their lovely recently re-furbished rooms in the main hotel. One small point, the king sized bed was two singles made up as one so the inevitable gap opened up. I hate it when that happens.. A plus was the internet which because we were the only users, was very fast and free. Staff, as usual were very friendly and helpful. No surprises really, still very good.

It is always a pleasure that guest find our hotel to sleep after a concert at pop podium 013 or to celebrate their love on valentines day. We like to give our guest something extra during their stay. In your case we have given you a free upgrade to one of our apartments. It is good to read that you find this nice but we are sorry to read that you would have preferred to stay in one of our standard rooms. The apartments get housekeeping every other day, we should have informed you about this at check in. Next time do not hesitate to contact the reception, we could have brought you extra towels or ask the housekeeping to do your room. I will share your concerns about the plants, the floor and the bed with our housekeeping manager. She will make sure the plants are watered more often and check the wooden floor. I'm often travelling for business and leisure purpose and have been extremely disappointed by what is supposed to be a 5* hotel: dirty bathroom, broken or missing elements, no sound damping. The staff is neither very professional nor friendly, as mistakes were made regarding reservation and there were no real attempts to provide us with a room up to our requirements (quiet and no double beds). The central location is not enough to justify the premium price charged by this hotel, so all in all, I strongly advise against staying in this hotel. I will never come back for sure.

Excellent location, very friendly service. The room we stayed in, may be renewed.It looked old but clean. The bed (2 single beds put together) needed a new mattress. Except for the bed and the room I certainly would recommend this hotel.

I stay regularly in Tilburg. This is the best hotel in the city, given price and location. It is in the city centre, close to the station. Privilege rooms are of good quality, other rooms could be updated and renewed. Friendly staff

Only stayed for one night but the service, hotel and general atmosphere was amanzing. Have no doubts in reommending this hotel for others! When i arrived, i was bumped up to a better room due to having loyalty points, could not have gone any better!!

One of the better hotels ive stayed at. Lovely staff, good food, clean updated rooms and quite well situated. about 15mins to the train station and just at the end of the mall on the main square, which is lovely to sit out on and have some nice food and a beer. yum. the rooms are quite beautiful and have electric blinds to keep the sun out as well. first hotel ive ever seen that with. i will always make sure i stop at this mecure next time im in europe, tilburg as well is quite fun and enjoyed it

As above. My trip was a mix of business and pleasure. In general, disappointed that my room was located directly above and in front of the busiest bar district in the town ... not good for sleeping. The beds were very soft as were the pillows but I'm not sure if that is the norm for Netherlands' hotels, nonetheless, it made things quite uncomfortable. My final issue reflected the cost of the breakfast ... decided to eat out as opposed to spending 18 euros extra per breakfast for what seemed a buffet with moderately warmish food. On the plus side, the staff at all levels were immensely helpful and accommodating and the rooms had inclusive wi-fi.

We are glad to hear that our staff was able to help you correctly. Unfortunately you weren’t satisfied with our beds, the price of the breakfast and the fact that you experienced noise from outside. Hopefully you understand that with many different guests staying with us, it is not always possible to meet the level of bed comfort that one asks for. Some guests prefer a soft bed and others a firmer one. We choose beds that are in between both to satisfy as much guests as possible. Please except our sincere apologies for this matter. Our breakfast chef is happy to make you a nice omelette or anything else you wish for, if we have it available in the kitchen. Therefore the breakfast had a wide variety of products which we hope will satisfy our guests. We are truly sorry to hear this wasn’t your experience. Please let us know if you missed something at the buffet. We regret to hear you have experienced loud noises from outside. Because we are located in the city centre we unfortunately do not have any influence on matters that happen outside of the hotel. Although when you wish we can try to transfer you to a more quiet room which are located further away from the bars. We hope that we have given you enough information on these matters.
