"Peace and quiet near Omaha Beach"

I stayed at this hotel already several times in the past few years, first time now with my wife. Location is brilliant, very peaceful, wonderful view and at the same time only a short drive from some excellent restaurants as well as from Bayeux. Only weak point was for the front desk to follow up on our complaint (in French so language was not the issue) that several lights in our room were out of order. Nothing was done to replace these lightbulbs (it was really not more than that that needed to be done) and since we only stayed one night we didn't bother to contact the (otherwise very friendly) receptionist anymore.

A lovely hotel with some great views an an ideal location, but terrible staff. At breakfast the staff would role their eyes and tut if you wanted anything....particularly pancakes as they would only put out 6 at a time and with a busy hotel with lots of children they didn't go very far. Hotel ran out completely of maple syrup after a coachload of americans stayed and didn't replace it for the remainder of our stay. Housekeeping very poor. The children's sofa bed was only made for 2 of the 5 days we were there. The coffee machine was broken, and when we challanged this was told by one staff that it would be fixed and then by another that they were all broken and that there was nothing they could do. Water and electrics do'nt mix....if it is broken take it out! Would be a great hotel without such surly staff.

Nice and plesant hotel, with a perfect location in historical Normandie. You are finding yourself in the middle of the scene of the D-Day, 6. july 1944. Situated on the Omaha Beach Golf Course, 36 holes, you can't miss a spectacular round of golf before lunch, and then you can enjoy a good meal of local dishes down in Port-en-Bessin Huppain.
