"Good experience"

Stayed at the Hotel Continental Zurich on two occasions during my recent trip to Switzerland. Check-in was a breeze and front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Room was very comfortable and the hotel had all the amenities to make my stay enjoyable. After staying in rock-hard beds for several days in small mountain villages it was a relief to get back to the Continental and sleep in comfort again! Breakfast was included with room and was great - good selection and the food was tasty and fresh. Ordered room service and dined in the restaurant - the food was decent but not spectacular. I thought at $30 parking was a bit pricey but don't have a basis for comparison. The hotel is in a great location and only a short walk to the Central station, Bahnhofstrasse, and Old Town. Would definitely stay here again in Zurich.

"Excellent hotel in centre of Zurich"

Like all MGallery Hotels the Hotel Continental offers excellent service and quality of rooms in a friendly, homely atmosphere. The hotel is well situated at 5 minutes walking distance from Zurich Central Station and the city shopping and business district. The hotel offers a parking garage, which is necessary as parking in the street(s) is difficukt or impossible.

Loved this hotel. Lovely staff and great location. Staff advise on where to go was excellent and always a smile. Magnificient breakfast. Loved the upgrade. Room huge with coffee machine. Would go back

"A Pleasant City Break in Zurich"

The Hotel Continental Zurich is located less than ten minutes walk from the centre of Zurich and is therefore in an ideal location for anyone who wishes to explore the city. The rooms are comfortable and the hotel staff are helpful and friendly. Switzerland is the most expensive country in Europe, therefore the deals on offer at the Hotel Continental represent extremely good value for money. It is certainly worth including breakfast in your booking as the hotel offers a good selection of sausages, bacon, eggs, potatoes, yoghurts, fruit juices, cereals, etc. A nice hotel. I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to my friends.

"Another good stay"

We liked the hotel so much we came back for a second stay.Great location for a city break being only 5 mins from the station and even less into the old town to wander around the shops and sights.Nice warm hotel and room to return to after being out in the cold and snow.I hope their new computer system is now working as it gave us problems on both checking in and out. Not the fault of the reception staff who tried their best!Would recommend to anyone.

"Nice stay, great service"

I stayed one night at the Hotel Continental while I was on Zurich on my way to Lucerne. I thought it was a great hotel -- easy walking distance to the sights, easy to get to from the train station, comfortable rooms, and fast internet. The staff was incredibly nice, particularly because they were able to get me in my room right after my flight (that landed at 7am). I would have been satisfied with just dropping by bag at the desk and checking in later, but getting into the room and getting a shower after an overnight flight really made my day. They also had plug converters available to loan, which was very helpful!The room was fairly small, but comfortable and well appointed. I was only there for one night, but I didn't feel cramped or anything. Overall a great stay -- not the least expensive hotel in the area, but definitely a no-sacrifice hotel.

"Excellent Hotel"

Very good hotel, I recommed. It is in the Center of the city and main transportation.The service room is excellent and breakfast superb, the room it self is clean, big, confortable and contains Nexpresso machine with appetizers

"excellent choice"

very nice and excellent located hotel; excellent breakfast; but the brakfast area is sometimes quite noisy, due to some tourists; relaxing beds; most of the rooms I stayed are quiet; in general it is an excellent choice; I am coming back several times a year in this hotel since 6-7 years;

"Friendly quality hotel in central Zürich"

Though the outlooks of this hotel do no appear very attractive, once inside you are in a friendly, comfortable and well run hotel. Nice rooms, good service, on walking distance from the central railwaystation and the shopping zone.

"Just off central Zurich"

It is a clean, modern hotel, very courteous staff, conveniently located a short distrance from the train station. For those with little luggage it is a convenient walk from the station. It is close to the tourist attractions of Zurich.Zurich itself is a delightful city to visit, one that is enjoyed both by tourists and residents.Perhaps credit card interest charges work differently in Europe. Our expereince was to process Zurich expenses in Swiss currency rather than accept the hotel's offer to convert to our currency which seemed to imply a 10% surcharge on the official exchange rate.

"Hotel Continental Zurich"

Don't judge a book by its cover. This hotel is nothing to look at from the outside. Inside however it is a very pleasant place to be. The room while not large was spotless and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and efficient.The free Wi-Fi is also a great touch. The location is also very good being very close to the central train station and only s short walk to many bars and restaurants.

"Good location near the station"

Good location near the station and on a tram line. Certainly quiet if you're at the back of the hotel. Check-in was efficient and friendly and wifi was free - important these days. Didn't have breakfast as a continental was 32 Francs.
