The Hotel has been refurbished since the last time we stayed and the rooms are very nice, the staff are very friendly and helpful.

This is a good overnight stay place with a good if expensive restaurant and free wi if. The check in was laborious and you have to enter via the mercury hotel after 10pm (I was challenged by the receptionist in that hotel and had to plead my room in another place bit it is hard to fault this particular ibis.

The sleeping area in the room was smaller than usual as the space was sacrificed to make a larger bathroom.There was no bar,I assume there is one in the connecting Mercure but was not told of this.The adjoining restaurant provided the breakfast venue;I thought a mistake as they were quite surly,different staff repeatedly asking for room numbers,telling me where to sit as they were more focused on laying tables for lunch.

Given that this was a low cost hotel we were very pleased with our 2 night stay. The room was small but big enough, the shower bigger than at home! 24 hr reception (joint with Mercure next door) and the staff showed courtesy. Use internet to get best deal.

Excellent location and very helpful staff. Rooms prepared and clean. Breakfast buffet good if a little understaffed: one waitress trying to greet, clear and reset tables. replenish areas and deal with coffee machine breaking down. She did very well considering. Don't pay 10 Euros for parking, plenty of free parking around hotel.

Good location. Clean, good rooms, bar and restaurant reasonable, parking good. Plenty to see in the area. Normandy beaches only 30 mins. away. Town centre has William the Conquerer's castle to see. Plenty of shops and restaurants around the hotel.

Great location and nice staff but the hotel was the most run down Ibis I've ever stayed in.The shower leaked and the air didn't work. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room but it smelled like smoke.

We have stayed in many Ibis hotels in France and Europe and as usual you get what you pay for. Clean adequate accomadation. This time though the reception and restaurant were being refurbished, we were not informed about this when we booked. The location is brilliant but 10euros per night for parking is extortionate.

The hotel is centrally located and had secure parking underground. It is clean and the bedrooms have all the necessary faciities. There is a pleasant bar and lounge area. The breakfast was enjoyable.
