"ARC WEEKEND"

Taxi from the airport cost between 55 and 65 euros. An Ideal location to visit Longchamp for the races. Just a short walk over the bridge turn right and you are there. The hotel is corporate and does exactly what it says on the tin, clean, tidy and well run. Only draw back is the TV in the rooms only has BBC world in english no CNN or SKY news. but you don't go to France to watch TV. The Saturday market in Surenes is impressive and seems to grow each year. The Chocolate shop in town is a must as the chocs are delicious.

Everything was very good except the sleeper couch that the kids slept on was uncomfortable - too soft and lumpy. When I asked the night porter for a blanket to put on top of the kids mattress, I was told there were no more blankets in the hotel, nor duvets, so I had to make do with a towel, which helped a bit. We accidentally went to the wrong room for breakfast the first morning (the tour breakfast room), so were disppointed, but realised our error the next day and enjoyed the nice breakfast in the restaurant on day 2. Our mistake. I would certainly go back as, on the whole it was a pleasant stay, a nice hotel plus good value for money.

We made a late decision to travel to Paris for the weekend and to take in some racing at Longchamp and what a good decision it was. We chose the hotel for its proximity to the racecourse and it was ideal, being only a 5 minute drive away.Unbelievable value at Eur113 for the night including breakfast for 3 and a trip on the Bateaux Parisienne, thrown in.we will definitely be staying here again.

I only had a brief stay, one night, but the room was fantastic - they upgraded me to a suite and the room, roof-view, was great. Woke up and looked out the window and the first thing I saw was The Tower.

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times with our children as it is convenient for visiting family and you can get to central Paris in half an hour.We love it - spotless well-appointed rooms, comfortable beds, good food in the restaurant and for breakfast.Staff always go out of their way to be helpful.
