"Perfect location, great staff"

Staff very friendly and very helpful. Excellent value for the money! Parking area is very secure and easy to access. The hotel is close to restaurants, the Notre Dame cathedral and other points of interest. Room is well appointed and provides a pleasant atmosphere for relaxing. I would definitely stay there again on future trips to Strasbourg.View management response »

Nicely located just off the main square in Strasbourg. Rooms nice and clean (although a bit 1980's style). Breakfast with a view on the city's roofs.Too bad there are renovation works in the road so getting to the hotel is a bit difficult currently.View management response »

We've been coming to this hotel for over a year and would not choose another in Strasbourg. The service is friendly, caring and helpful.The hotel is located within a 5 minute walk of shopping and restaurants. Their buffet breakfast is perfect, especially if you need to be on the road first thing in the morning.View management response »

bad breakfast experience: at 9.30 they did not have any scrambled eggs and baguettes and cheese. no value for money and bad service!the location of the hotel was good!parking was nearby!the room was okay!

The staff in the reception was very helpful. The "dyner" were too heavy, and as the aircondition stopped every night around 3 o'clock it became very warm in thr room. When we checked out, we were asked if we were over 60 (so we are) and we were offered free breakfast. We had prepaid both room and breakfast, so instead we were offered free parking. That's good service.
"Decent but not great"

Rooms are good and space is ok. One girl from reception desk was really rude and unpolite. Breakfast is ok for Mercury standards and is served at the top floor with a nice view, which is a plus. Location is good and not so far from the railway station. We did stay in better Mercurys before though.

Walking distance to train station. Some electrical modifications were going on in our room and the other rooms on our floor, but it was completed by the time we returned in the evening. They cleaned up most of the dust, except for the white dust that had settled on the white duvet cover. The beds were typically hard as in all other hotels in France. The weather was unseasonably warm during our stay and the hotel had not started its air-conditioning system. Luckily there were four windows which open, but still the room did not cool down very much. Our following stay was at the Novotel in Reims and the air-conditioning was working there. The breakfast was very good. It was served on the top floor with a lovely view of the cathedral in the distance. The reception staff was very helpful and courteous.
