"Weekend at St Malo"

Hotel as good as it gets for an economy hotel. The WiFi connection I however very much disliked. Needed both log in ID plus password every time you want to go on internet and also only 24 hours. Then you needed to get new log in ID plus password from the reception if you stay for more than one night. Arrangement with Orange. A much more simple way would be to have e.g. surname plus room No as password and no log in Id which I do not think serves any real purpose. As this would be recognised during the length of the stay no need for 24 hours renewal and to enter every time you get on.

Parking is virtually impossible in summer near to the hotel and the 14 Euro charge to park at hotel is steep. Staff friendly, lovely sea view from breakfast bar and the rooms at the front, which are at a higher price. Excellent beach opposite and good local seafood restaurants within easy walking distance.

Very good quet location, overlooking the sea. One needs to take a pleasant 10 min walk on the promenade along the sea to the city centre. The rooms are clean but rather small and basic (in terms of design and equipment).

Very helpful staff, well designed room especially the bathroom, we had a sea view and if the weather had been kinder we would have strolled along the sandy beach.The bar is ok, but food is frozen and microwaved which is a shame.

We like this hotel as it is in a good location- we have tried others and the Kyriad just up the road matches it in value for money and location. The rooms are small but clean. Wifi and parking are extras. Breakfast in continental and the restaurant can be crowded but the staff are friendly and helpful and the location is good
