Sofitel Brussels Le Louise: 5.0 out of 5 stars "2 days in Belgium"

21st April 2012

The Sofitel provided an outstanding place to stay. We were there on the weekend, so got an awesome rate. Our flight arrived very early and we didn't expect to be able to check in but the room was available, so wonderful to shower and nap after a long journey. The Midi strain station was a few metro stops away so an easy base to get to Bruge -which we loved, and back and forth to the airport. Little touches like coffee and tea in the room were appreciated - not all European hotels provide that.

Sofitel Brussels Le Louise: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Sophisticated!"

6th April 2012, Amsterdam, The Netherlands

A middle part of the bed was dented!? and I had a back pain in the next morning. However it was fine for my wife. All the rest was very nice and people were very sophisticated and professional.

Sofitel Brussels Le Louise: 3.0 out of 5 stars "Ongoing failing upgrade system Accor loyalty cards"

29th March 2012, Sint-Niklaas, België

Very nice, trendy and well located hotel. I personnaly stayed several times in this hotel, and it is probably on of the better hotels to stay in Brussels. However, the only very embarrasing thing for this particular Sofitel hotel is that, even if you are entitled to receive an upgrade (by having the right Accor loyalty card) and you expressed upfront clearly the question to be upgraded if possible, you always really have to start a very semi-public and really embarrasing discussion on a potential upgrade at the reception desk. After getting all the excuses possible by the reception clerck and/or assistant-manager (nobody in charge to allow upgrades, hotel full-booked, technical problems in all upgraded rooms (!) and many of these more), you will be told that your 'certainly' complaint will be passed to the hotelmanagement and next time this issue will be solved, which will be -off course- not the case. Verry exceptionnaly you will receive finally an upgrade, but the painful negotiation related to it spoils the whole 'upgrade experience'. So because of this rather ongoing disappointment my low rating for 'service'. To be clear, I have only this experience in this particular Sofitel. In other Sofitels I experienced most of the time a smooth upgrade process.

Sofitel Brussels Le Louise: 2.0 out of 5 stars "Overcharging"

29th February 2012, Luxembourg City, Luxembourg

What a strange crowd in this hotel. They said that a stole a pillow from the room, which wasn't the case and charged me for it.. i questioned it and they were wrong. I don't understand their customer service policy but clearly the clientele they get their must be really desperate to steal a pillow. I stayed there many times but not again.

Sofitel Brussels Le Louise: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Top"

14th February 2012, Brussels, Belgium

I loved the idea of putting the balloon on the baby bed. It is so thoughtful to provide the baby towel and soap. The children corner at the breakfast room is just magnificent. The staff is so helpful and they give so much informations that make your stay enjoyable and easy.I dont regret choosing the hotel for my sister's birthday.

Sofitel Brussels Le Louise: 5.0 out of 5 stars "MY BEST PLACE IN BRUSSELS"

14th February 2012, PASCALBR, PARIS

I often come to BRUSSELS for both business and/ or private with my wife. We're very demanding concerning hotels and we always stay in SOFITEL LOUISE. Very good location between luxury shops and center. Very good hotel even if the rooms are not so big ( but it's OK) and if I would appreciate a spa. Prices are expensive during the week but acceptable during week ends ...Our one and only hotel in BRUSSELS.

Sofitel Brussels Le Louise: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Oustanding service"

3rd September 2011, worldhereicome34, Montpellier

The best thing about this hotel is the staff. Friendly, helpfull, professional, everything you would expect from people working in this kind of hotel. It's an example for a lot of other hotel properties of the Accor group (Dear Accor management send some people in training to this hotel). For the rest this hotel is good, rooms are nice and very clean. It's pretty central in Brussels city. I will certainly go back to this hotel.

Sofitel Brussels Le Louise: 5.0 out of 5 stars "great value, great location"

17th April 2011, Delft

highly recommended. in a shopping area, with nice accessibility. 20 mins walk to the grote markt. the hotel has a nice patio on the 1st floor where one can enjoy sunshine. the room is spacious, with nice detail settings. lovely.

Sofitel Brussels Le Louise: 3.0 out of 5 stars "KING SIZE BED IN DISGUISE"

26th March 2011, nicosia

My reservation was for a King size bed. It was made through Accor website. Instead I was given two twin beds covered with a fited king size sheet.VERY UNCOMFORTABLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and disgraceful since I was able to discover it only very late at night and after I went to bed .

Sofitel Brussels Le Louise: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Excellent"

Sofitel Brussels Le Louise: 5.0 out of 5 stars "good hotel, with one down side"

Where as i liked your hotel very much i will only write about the one thing i did not like. You do not have a good shower, no power in the water flow. But otherwise good hotel and good service.

Sofitel Brussels Le Louise: 5.0 out of 5 stars "My Sofitel Le Louise Experience"

10th December 2010, London

I visit Brussels frequently either with my wife or alone to visit my son who works and lives here. Up to now I have been disappointed with many of the hotels I have stayed in. Some overcharged for the poor service they gave and others were cold and unfriendly. This cannot be said about Le Louise. The staff were charming and helpful, the room warm, inviting and beautifully decorated. The general standard was first class. It is only a pity I cannot stay longer on my trips to enjoy all the excellent facilities

Sofitel Brussels Le Louise: 5.0 out of 5 stars "Great hotel!"

Good location, staff excellent. Room service quick and delicious. Would go again and highly recommend.
