"Great place for good money"

This hotel is absolutely perfect place to stay. I can only recommend it. Clean and quiet not far from center of Nuernberg. Staff is very willing.

The room a the Ibis hotel in the Alt Stadt in Nurnberg Germany was advertised as having higher quality rooms than it did. The staff were rude, and the breakfast food in the morning was very poor, especially for the 10Euros per person they charge for the stuff. The room was poorly maintained, and not what I had requested. I would have not minded paying the 85 euro for the room if it was at least what was on the pictures they had posted online.

I think that the hotel was perfect has no objection points, except the bed squeaked every time I move. the staff was very nice and helpful. and could both speak and understand English it is a big plus in germany

The hotel location is perfect - the old city, Imperial Castle, Main Market Square and Our Lady's Church, Square at Tiergärtnertor, etc. are all within the walking distance from the hotel. It is just about a 5 minute walk to the central train station. Great convenience! The hotel is what one would expect from the Ibis brand - clean, functional, quiet. The let down is lack of free wi-fi. Only one computer available in the lobby corridor. Nevertheless, we had a very comfortable stay. Will come back in future.

If you stay in this hotel for leisure and learning to know about the city , it is the correct place to stay. All within the walking distance you can have shopping experiences, simple traditional dinning and various international kitchen and if your leg is still permit to walk a little far more you can reach the old town of Nuernberg

This was my third stay at the Ibis Altstadt Nuernberg.This time I got a very favorable winter deal which included breakfast and a 10 Euro voucher for food and refreshments at the lobby bar.The staff here were all very kind and the breakfast buffet had a lot of good things. The location is ideal, since it's only a short walk from the Hauptbahnhof and historic center and there are plenty of restaurants,cafes and stores nearby.

We were given an excellent room (305) with lots of space.Front Desk service seemed impersonal, but warmed up once we started chatting. Cannot think of a better location if you connect to/from Train Station and your main interest is to visit the Old City.

Staff were extemely helpfull and polite, Breakfast was acceptable but not outstanding for 10Euros. Parking at a reduced price is available but situated at 200m. good value if you want to stay and visit the old town

The hotel is ideally placed: a few minutes from the station and walking distance from most of the sights, shops and restaurants. The room, as usual with Ibis hotels, was large and well equipped. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

I liked the Ibis hotel for its central loacation in the heart of the city of Nuremberg. The hotel is clean and a five minute walk from the central station. The hotel room was quite large and a seperate area for the shower was a nice touch. Tv was large and new and the room was very clean. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient. had nothing to complain about and would stay here agion if i visited the city.

It's always difficult booking hotels. I feel that reviews fall into the either very good or very poor category. However the location was spot-on, right in the centre of town & right near the railway/tube. It was quiet & the staff were very friendly & efficient.The rooms were compact but very comfortable & cleanI would stay here again

The hotel is excellently located of you're interested in experiencing the atmosphere of the 'old' Nuernberg. The moment you step outside you're right in the middle of things. At the same time, if you came by plane and left by train you are a mere five minutes from the hotel: it could not be easier. The hotel and the rooms are spotlessly clean; the facilities are simple and plain, very comfortable and entirely adequate. The service is always friendly and helpful

The Ibis Altstadt is our favourite hotel for the Christkindlmarkt - central location in the Old Town/adjacent to U-Bahn station and Hauptbahnhof and Tourist Office. Hotel good value.
