"Internet problems"

This is a very well located hotel for holliday makers. The poolside restaurant is particularly pleasant on warm summer evenings. The first time that I used the restaurant for dinner, the service was somewhat slow, and the meal took 2 hours. The length of time I had to wait between each course was overly long. However this problem was not repeated on subsequent evenings.Anybody who needs to access Yahoo by internet, should consider a different hotel, unless Mercure fix this problem. Pages from Yahoo took a ridiculous length of time to download, and when they did appear, they were scrambled and unformatted. Since the problem was ONLY with Yahoo, the hotel put the blame on Yahoo, but I do not believe that Yahoo would allow such a problem to persist for 5 days. I did not have this problem with my previous or subsequent hotels which were also Mercure.Most Mercure hotels use Orange for wifi-access, and this works well. However in Hyeres they seem to be using a different provider, which I think is responsible for the problem. They do have an alternative (Netgear) wi-fi network. However it seems that this Netgear network has limited coverage and is not available in all rooms. It was notavailable in room 302. Mercure needs to get its act together in this hotel.

The hotel was as expected, clean, accessible and correctly priced.The quality of services was good, the staff pleasant and overall presentation was most agreable.Now that we have stayed, we will return without hesitation for another quiet week-end away.
