"Simple and straightforward"

A very pleasant, clean, convenient and easy to use airport hotel, with little noise pollution from the planes. A great way to get much needed sleep before an early flight.

All ok, very convenient location for Luton airport, a few minutes walk from the terminal. The rooms are actually OK, I ahve seen bigger ones, but also much smaller ones, too for the same price range. Clean enough, kind, friendly personnel.

Great little hotel, recently refurbished rooms were clean and although basic you get what you pay for - or don't pay for in this case.no free wifi - it costs up to ten quid!no TV in rooms - you have to pay.restaurant looks reasonably priced although i didn't try it personally.Walk to Luton airport is 10 minutes, might put some wear and tear on the wheels of your luggage, be warned!

The online booking went smoothly, the reception on arrival was friendly and helpful.The room was acceptable, both clean and comfortable. The restaurant was very good, with a wide menu, excellent food, both in presentation and quality.Our checkout was easy and quick in the middle of the night.

"Good airport hotel"

Stayed here one night before an early flight, it's an easy ten minutes walk to the airport and is the usual Ibis standard. I think it's a bit mean that there's no drop off point outside the hotel, but everyone seemed to park on the yellow line on the slip road outside to drop off. The room was far too hot, which is true of every chain hotel I have stayed in, I don't know what they do, but some give you a fan, which would have been nice here (however everyone tells me that my house is too cold, so it's probably me not the hotels!).It was nicely quiet, I could occasionally hear people walking about upstairs, but it didn't seem intrusive.I didn't eat in the restaurant but it was a good price and I went to nosy around and the food looked fine. We walked to the terminal and bought food at the M&S which is open 24 hours.There is a bus stop outside the hotel next door (I think it was holiday inn) and there seemed to be a shuttle bus to the airport, but it's such an easy walk save the money - though the airport is located quite high above Luton and the walk at 5am was freezing, even though the day before it was quite warm, take some gloves in preparation :-)

"Overnight Stay"

Ideal location for Luton airport, just 10 min walk to departures. Rooms are spacious and clean. Bathroom is large and overal looks very modern and clean. Staff is friendly. Overall is very good and recommend for overnight stays.

please don't be pedantic with your comments on the review - why should it be at least 100 characters? It was good value. The only small negative was that the room was a bit small for 2 people. Would certainly recommend it.

"SMALL COMPLAINT"

I was offered a 3 Bedroom room, rather than a double bed that I had paid and asked for. Due to the fact that the hotel was full they could not give me the room I asked for, neither compensate me/ The overall quality of the hotel was good as well as the breakfast. The receptionist was kind.

"Good hotel"

Having stayed in few Ibis hotels before, this one fulfilled my high expectation I have become to get used to when staying with Ibis. I have marked the service down only because I had to wait for a little while to be sered dinner. The staff was very good but they needed extra pair of hands for the evening rush.

"Nice hotel near airport"

Ideal location if You want to sleep near Luton airport, e.g. You arrive late or leave early. Airport bus stop is some 1-2 minutes by foot and journey to airport takes no more than 3-5 minutes. You may reach airport on foot but we did not try. However buses go every 15-20 minutes even in the early morning. Check in and check out processes were very quick. Staff was nice. Room and bathroom were clean and spaciuos. The only inconvenience was that on our arrival we ordered taxi for 5a.m. in the morning and it did not was there. Receptionist ordered another taxi but after waiting for 15 minutes (instead of promissed 7 minutes) we finally went to bus stop. But this was probably due to heavy snowfall during the night.

I love this hotel. It is such good value, has a good restaurant and the most charming staff in the world.It is possible to get a good cooked breakfast in the restaurant at a very early hour.Parking is reasonably plentiful and cheap.Why am I saying this, now I won't be able to get a room!?

"The receptionist was the worst I have ever met."

I stayed at ibis Luton Airport Hotel only for one night and it was because I had an early flight. I arrived the hotel around 12 pm. I entered the hotel and the receptionist did not even wellcomed us and just put a form infront of me and showed the places where I have to fill up. Since I have already booked and paid online the just gave me room entry card and did not even informed me about the hotel's facilities. Despite the impolite receptionist the room and bath room was clean. the hotel was silent. I had an early flight and just stayed for 5-6 hours to sleep before my flight. I sleeped well but I am not used to see such an impolite receptionist at an ibis hotel.( I stayed at ibis hotels many times and this is the first time I had such a problm.)

"Convenient for airport"

The staff were very polite and friendly.The restaurant was very noisy. The meal average (cold veg, but good fish)The price reflects the conditions of room.Nice to have free tea and coffee.Very convenient for a night's stay for the airport when taking an early morning flight.

"Lessons in bed making"

Good budget hotel located very convenient for Luton Airport. Less than 10 minute walk.Rooms are adequate and clean however on this occasion room 183 the bed was poorly made and I had to re-make it and I was also on the verge of asking for a room change due to the creaking bed with every movement. Just a very cheap chip board base >-<, .....
